Accreditation is the process by which a credible, independent body (recognized accreditation agency) assesses the quality of a school’s Medical Education programs, to provide assurance that they produce graduates who are competent to practice safely and effectively and that they have been provided with an appropriate foundation for lifelong learning and further professional medical training and development. Throughout this process, the Medical School undergoes a series of comprehensive evaluations through on-site visits, document reviews, and interviews to assess its curriculum, educational methods, quality control, student counseling and support, and more in order to demonstrate its compliance with the predefined accreditation standards. The students should be involved in every level of the quality assurance and accreditation process.
