🦋تعاريف الاختبارات حتى ماتتوهمون بيهم 🦋 1-Molisch’s Test _molisch’s test:- it is the general test for all carbohydrates. _molisch’s solution (reagent):- Furfural react with a-napthol 2-Benedict’s Test _ Benedict’s test :- all reducing sugar give positive Benedict’s test . _benedict’s solution ( reagent):-blue copper sulfate ( CuSO4 .5H2O) . 3-Barfoid’s Test _barfoid’s test :- the test is used to distinguish between monosaccharides and reduced disaccharides. _barfoid’s solution ( reagent):-copper acetate in dilute acetic acid 4-Bial’s Test _bial’s test :- to distinguish between the pentoses monosaccharides & monosaccharide hexoses. _bial’s solution ( reagent) :- a solution of orcinol & HCl & ferric chloride. 5-Seliwanoff’s Test _seliwanoff’s test :- the test reagent dehydrates ketohexoses to form 5- hydroxy methyl furfural _seliwanoff’s solution ( reagent):- a solution of resorcinol and HCl 6- Iodine Test :- test for polysaccharides #منقول
