Articulations: هذا العظم لديه five articulations، و هي: 1⃣ The parietal bone (sagittal suture) 2⃣ The frontal bone (coronal suture) 3⃣ The occipital bone (lambdoid suture) 4⃣ The sphenoid bone (sphenoparietal suture) 5⃣ The temporal bone 🔸parieto-squamousal suture 🔸 parietomastoid 🌼 حسب الجزء من ال temporal bone الذي يتصل مع ال parital bone

☘ Parital eminence: إرتفاع يقع بالقرب من منتصف العظم ويمثل أوسع نقطة في الجمجمة، هذه هي المنطقة التي بدأ فيها تعظم ال parital bone

☘ Temporal lines: عبارة عن 2lines موجودة بعدة عظام و منها ال parital bone: 🔹 The superior temporal line gives attachment to the temporal fascia 🔹 The inferior temporal line provides attachment for temporalis

☘ Parital foramen: فتحات تقع في السطح ال Posterosuperior على جانبي ال sagittal suture شنو فائدة هذه الفتحات؟🤔 تمر من خلالها emissary veins و occipital artery زين، لحظة شنو يعني emissary veins؟🤔 عبارة عن إتصالات بين الأوردة Emissary veins: are veins which pass through foramina in the skull to provide a venous communication between the dural venous sinuses and veins of the scalp or veins inferior to the skull base (cranial-cerebral anastomosis)

☘ سطحه الخارجي: 🔹 Smooth 🔹 convex ☘ سطحه الداخلي: 🔸 highly irregular 🔸 concave

Parital bone: ☘ يكون جزء من neurocranium ☘ هو paired bones ☘ يكون جزء كبير من calveria و يكون جزء صغير و بسيط من basic cranium

❗️At birth: كان ال frontal bone عبارة عن عظمتين يفصلها median suture (metopic suture) و لكن هذا ال suture سيلتحم ليصبح ال frontal bone عظم واحد ☘ تقريبا هذا الإلتحام سيبدأ بعمر السنتين و يكتمل بعمر 8 سنوات
