โ€” ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฉ: An unidentified Boeing 747-409F cargo aircraft is tracking from N'Djamena, Chad across South Sudan toward the Gulf of Aden, with its registration and destination unavailable on Flightradar24. The aircraft appears to be following a corridor commonly monitored by OSINT researchers due to recurring cargo flights linking the Gulf region with central Africa. This aircraft was last tracked going to Nevatim Airbase in the occupied Palestinian territories from the UAE. @NewsFromSudan

โšก๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณโ€” Fresh setback for Tejas Mk1A programme as sixth US engine develops snag The delayed Tejas Mk1A programme has encountered another hurdle after a technical snag was detected in the sixth GE F404-IN20 engine supplied by US manufacturer GE Aerospace to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Sources said HAL has formally taken up the matter with GE Aerospace. A technical team from GE is expected to visit India to inspect the engine. If the defect is found to be rectifiable, repairs will be carried out in India. However, if the issue cannot be resolved locally, the engine may have to be replaced by the manufacturer @ThePakistanNews

โšก๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ Iraqi defense minister J. E. Saadoun announced that his country was close to signing a deal for 14 Rafales f4. The airframes would be 10 Rafale C single seaters and 4 Rafale B two-seaters. If the contract were to be signed within 2026, delivery would take place around 2030. This deal would be a noticeable break from the past 23 years of reliance on american military industry and a renewal of the trust Saddam put in Dassault. For the anecdote, he had expressed interest for the Rafale demonstrator all the way back in 1989. At this stage, the global pricetag sit at about 3,3 billions usd, but both Bagdad and Paris are exploring ways of payment in crude oil rather than in green bills. @medmannews

โšก๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The B-21 Raider fleet could potentially reach 400 aircrafts. Yes, you read that right. Northrop Grumman has gotten the science down-pat, with multiple recent โ€˜infusionsโ€™ from the U.S Air Force and Dept of Defense/Dept of War, the fabled legacy defense firm has continually shown that the B-21 Raider program is โ€œwell-aheadโ€ of schedule; and reports from the Mitchell Institute suggesting 300+ to counter the Peopleโ€™s Liberation Army-Air Force (PLAAF) and Peopleโ€™s Liberation Army-Navy (PLAN)โ€™s Aviation force. Most recently, the USAF upped its order from 100 to 200 units, with an option for 50 more; and with the previously mentioned infusions of funding, could very well see 250 units on order; and with at least 2 Major U.S Allies interested in the program, with 1 being undisclosed, and the other being Australia (๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ). The USAF currently fields 3 B-21 Raiders, although they likely wonโ€™t ever leave the continental U.S; as they are all assigned to testing units within the USAF. The first โ€˜mainline serviceโ€™ B-21s are expected to enter service in 2027; nearly 3 years ahead of schedule and will begin the gradual replacement of the B-1B Lancer, B-2 Spirit, and the B-52 Stratosfortress. @Medmannews
