https://t.me/washedtrades made a new channel, wanted to start fresh and too many inactives / bots in this one. back to sharing trades, no more macro or random yap. market still kinda meh, but think vvv and pod type of spots will continue to pop up and wanna catch those whenever they come

alright fresh start, gonna change the direction of this channel. started as a place for me to shill memes, then as those died it just became a place for me to braindump and ramble about macro which isnt very productive. lots of garbage in here so just nuked it all going back to sharing trades and actionable stuff

bumping this, removed some inactives so opened up spots. will sort of just make this a rolling thing until its in a good place. really trying to keep this higher signal and ween off memecoins unless its something obvious or big potential, really want to focus on the vvv, pod, etc type spots as i think those are the move going forward. mightve missed some dms before so feel free to bump. also pls give some examples of best trades, areas of focus, and any skills like wallet tracking, coding, etc

my thought was maybe btc goes down and good alts can do their thing, but looks like everything wants to roll over. sell in may and walk away chuds are prob gonna win again

if you cant seem to shake the memecoin bug, i think allocating to ton eco is prob a good bet. i have minimal exposure atm, but would increase if durov / foundation put some motion on memes and want them to win

short btc dom feels like the correct mindset for the forseable future until something changes

gm got a little too bearholed cus of btc, missed some easy trades cus of it. i think btc still makes a new low, but good alts can stay strong despite this. short btc, long good alts seems like the move for the next few months. would expect btc to die if spx sneezes, good alts should be fine. think most interesting coins to me are: ton zec vvv bio nock chip feel a little late to zec and vvv, so not a buyer here but would grab if they come down low enough. ton bio nock and chip still feel low. nock hurts cus we were too early to it, base bridge was definitely sell the news as it acted as liquidity for early miners (team/investors) to sell. not great, but think it might be one of those things to look past. bio is peptide/health exposure, not many good vehicles for this so should be good. chip havent read a ton about but its stable x ai narra, doesnt really get better. ton have already splurged about enough in here, feels like a bet on distro and has a setup to be the breakout l1 for next cycle. these all feel like low lev or spot buys, think liquidity continues to consilidate into a few good things and they catch a pretty consistent bid. i see very little reason to buy btc in the short / mid term. saylor overhang, quantum, underperformance, etc are obvious but real issues that dont get fixed overnight. maybe it pushes to 90k if everything goes nuts, but better returns everywhere else. buy good thing and chill type of market, not worth going down risk curve atm

last thing from me, but think we continue down this path where good things can decouple from btc. saw it was zec post 10/10, hype recently. btc does scare me, but i think ton is good enough where it can keep catching a bid even if btc is cooked

Basically it’s got parallels to musk when he was all about DOGE. Billionaire well known tech guy bullposting your coin. Obviously it’s not as good as doge was back then (ie you don’t have retail mania in crypto markets, perps exist so people can short etc). But the story is super compelling. I can see it at $5.5+ in a month or two if durov keeps going. Maybe earlier if Btc plays ball

I think the TON story is super compelling. Multi-cycle old coin, tight supply control. Durov multi billionaire Chad founder. Telegram globally known app. Now TON fully controlled by telegram. Durov posting daily, instead of barely once a month. Engaging daily re blockchain. These sort of guys (musk is another) get hooked on one thing and will go hard on it for weeks/months. The bid on TON isn’t retail that’s for sure I missed it the first day. Scalped it a bit at 1.8ish but then been waiting for a dip. This is first decent one. So starting a large position. 1/3rd in at 2.38 and will add other 2/3rds on dips or over the next 2 days.

also if durov leans into memes or shows any bias towards where he wants the chain go, you prob slam that and look away. still a little unclear of how they want to position themselves

eco lagging as main coin looks like a monster. think this is fine, eco prob goes whenever ton chills out and goes sideways

ton stuff is a temporary hold for me atm cus i think we reverse soon, but if it remains strong wouldnt mind holding it. i can see the longer term vision, feels like one of the better spots in crypto atm

ton kinda fits two of my core thesis beyond crypto: distro is everything & small groups are the best way to combat social media slop think discord, tg, and reddit (kind of) are uniquely positioned rn as they allow for curation and you only get to see what you want. X is trying to do with this with topics and such, but it doesnt work imo. social media algos operate in a way where they'll make you consume what they want you to, not what you want to see, example being the flavor of the day meta on X. i think traditional socials still act as top of funnel, but all the real alpha and info is now just found in smaller private groups hosted on tg or discord. if im right abt that then, then tg and discord continue to win. ton distro through tg is pretty massive and would make sense for increased usage as its easily accessible. old l1s continue to lose and slowly die out. binance sentiment is only getting worse as CEXs become obselete, solana remains spiritually bankrupt and ruined by broccoli heads, etc. i do think all these l1s are largely not needed but crypto continues to be predictable, so we should expect a new l1 to takeover next cycle. still too early imo, but best contender for this is ton imo.
