🛸 Infos about writing an essay story for Part C Paper 2!! ––(for what Qas understand)–– 💥There are two different types of question they might ask: - Head of the story - End of the story Ex: ⤷Write a story beginning with: "The wind blew strongly. Out at sea..." ⤷Write a story ending with: "...I regret buying the laptop for my little sister." 🍓The essay should be at least 4-5 paragraphs!! 1) Head of the story. 2) Content of your story. 3) Content. 4) Content. 5) End of the story. 🌈How to start? 𖦹 Use your imagination following the question ask for. 𖦹 Think if your narrative should be in first or third person (unless the question already tell the narrative position): ⤷First person pronouns – I/Me/We/Us ⤷Third person pronouns – He/She/They 𖦹 Write the sentence given firstly/ always end with the sentence given. 𖦹 Make it dramatic. 🪼When writing a story!! ✮ Describe things/expressions/actions. Ex: ⤷Smiling – Her lips curved into a smile... ⤷Angry – He saw red as he looks up into his friend's eyes... ✮ Use metaphor like you need air. Ex: ⤷Fly like a fairy who just granted a wish. ⤷The trees are dancing to the strong wind... ✮ Put personalities into your character/story. ⤷Show their personality through dialogue or action. Ex: ⤷ Egoistic – His laugh can be heard in the whole building after the kid praised him, "HAHA! Of course.. I know... Who could've done it better huh?" 🌺 Must have cohesive devices. Ex for story: ✦ Timeline: ┆• In the beginning, ┆• All of a sudden, ┆• In the end, ✦ To show contrast: ┆• Nevertheless, ┆• However, ┆• Although, ✦ Cause and effect: ┆• Because... ┆• Therefore... ┆• As a result... ✦ Place and direction: ┆• In front of... ┆• Behind the... ╰• Across from... 🌟Other things to keep in mind! 𖦹 At least one idiom in your essay. 𖦹 Don't run too far from the topic. 𖦹 If you written it well, use bombastic words. 𖦹 Use short-forms/slangs only in dialogue. ⤷Avoid using too much that makes it hard to understand. ⤷Only when it fits the character or situation. 👽.𖥔 ݁ ˖ At first, writing an essay story can be tough. But with a lot of practices and efforts, your story will be AWESOME!! It wouldn't ever hurt to try write a story. Have a nice day. <33
