Everyone says they “fixed” it, but this is how you really fix something.

Accusation in a mirror (AiM), also known as mirror politics, mirror propaganda, mirror image propaganda, or a mirror argument, involves falsely attributing to one's adversaries the intentions or actions one has for oneself. Linked with dehumanization, AiM is identified as an indirect form of incitement to genocide. Here are three instances in recent history of accusation in a mirror: 1. Holocaust (1930s-1940s): False accusations: Jews were often depicted as conspirators plotting to control the world, using stereotypes and anti-Semitic tropes to dehumanize them. 2. Rwandan Genocide (1994): False accusations: Tutsis were portrayed as enemies, using dehumanizing language and framing them as a threat to Hutus, contributing to the violence that unfolded. 3. Colonial era (Various periods): False accusations: Indigenous populations were often depicted as primitive or savage, reinforcing stereotypes to legitimize European colonial powers’ exploitation and domination. This tactic is used against Palestinians and is currently at its worst with the atrocities happening in Gaza. False allegations are being thrown without a shred of evidence to dehumanize Palestinians. It is important that we understand this context and continue to fight misinformation while remaining steadfast in our support for justice and the truth.

Every Zionist accusation is a confession. Colonizers notoriously deflect guilt by accusing the oppressed of their own crimes, distorting truth to mask their own brutality. This manipulative and sinister tactic is used without end by the Zionist occupation. It inflicts pain and suffering while victimizing itself to manufacture consent and show its monstrosity further. We must unmask these tactics, reject the false accusations, and stand united against the insidious machinery of imperialism that seeks to distort truth and perpetuate injustice. Never fall for the propaganda. Always question their sources and information. Every accusation they make is a confession of their own crimes or a crime they’re about to commit.

This is AOC. There’s an old African proverb that says, “Until the lion learns how to write, every story will glorify the hunter.” Zionism, for over 75 years, has controlled the narrative through subterfuge and suppression. Today, the veil has been lifted to show its monstrous face. As a result of the unwavering resistance of the Palestinian people and the occupation’s sheer hubris, the story is being rewritten with the ink of truth, where the oppressed are reclaiming their voices and dismantling the distorted tales that once glorified the oppressor. Now, the lion's roar echoes across the pages of history - a powerful rallying sound challenging the silence imposed for decades. It is no surprise that whomever echoes or amplifies that glorious sound is subject to censorship and suppression from giants like Meta. But we will not be silenced. Nothing is greater than the voice of the people. So here we are together, seekers of truth and justice, and we cannot be stopped. We will continue to amplify the revolution’s unshakeable voice and expose the occupation’s fragility. We are all AOC. Long live the Intifada. Long live the resistance.
