Do Not Forget About The War Poem by: Stepan Kadashnikov, 20.04.2015 Do not forget about the war. Pass on to your descendants How great-grandfathers died in the fire, Do not betray the feat of your ancestors! Do not forget the obelisks At the place of past exploits. Even though the war no longer looms, Do still remember them! Do not forget, in an idle hour, Of those who remained at the war. Be proud of those who for sake of you Rose to their final, mortal battle. Never forget The price they paid. Keep it in memory, and then, You won't belittle the victory! Let your enemies whisper at your back: — Forget the traces of times bygone... But past experience says: — You are defeated once the Victory's forgot! Do not forget about the war. Hold up the flag of victory much higher! For doubly life will punish those Both Victory and grief forgetting... Video from Alisha Cherkasova's channel @BeornAndTheShieldmaiden

FSB declassified data on lifesaving Soviet aid to the Allies in 1945 6th of May 2024 The FSB of Russia has released a statement by Adolf Hitler's former personal adjutant, SS Sturmbannfuhrer Otto Gunsche, made in April 1948 and addressed to the Soviet government. The document testifies to the events that took place at Hitler's headquarters during the preparation and conduct of the offensive operation of the German army in the Ardennes. "The final success of the German troops in the West was prevented by the grandiose offensive undertaken by the Russian command on the entire front from the Baltic Sea to the Carpathians. This led to the cessation of the German offensive against the Anglo-Americans in the West and the transfer of large German military formations to the German-Russian front. The further turn of battle in the East gave the Anglo-American troops the opportunity to invade Germany," Otto Gunsche said. He was captured during the fighting for Berlin in April–May 1945. The Soviet command launched the Vistula-Oder offensive ahead of schedule at the request of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. This saved the Allied forces from defeat, wrote Hitler's former aide-de-camp. Photo: Residents of the city of Czestochowa (Poland) greet Soviet soldiers taking part in the Vistula-Oder operation. (follow-up to ⬆️) “I remember how the helicopters flew over the schools and kindergartens of Oktyabrsky settlement. I remember the frightened eyes of the children - and not a single Ukrainian news bulletin reported it...” - Irina Chinkina. “To this day, when I remember that day, I am gripped with fear and shaking, and tears are streaming from my eyes... How I was screaming then! I frightened my granddaughter, she ran after me, and in search of a hiding place I threw myself from side to side, until we hid behind the sofa in the hall... She clung to me trembling body and begged me to protect her. And the helicopters were circling over our house... A neighbor who lived three houses away from us was looking for her son for a long time, and then she couldn't get him murdered out of the car for a few days ... It was pretty hot, and the killed ones were laying on the road, shelled by snipers from all sides, for several days...” - Irina Isayenko. In those days, I was in my native Petrovsky district. Being quite far from politics, I remember my incomprehensible thoughts: “What is going on? Who are those people? Why are the airplanes bombing us?” Russell told me, he was at home in the U.S. at the time, closely following what was going on the Internet, and his heart was bleeding because he had known since Maidan that his government was behind it all. He knew and was tormented that he had to do something about it, not just watch. He will make the final decision to go to Donbass to protect civilians on June 2, 2014 after the Ukrainian Air Force air strike on the peaceful administration of Lugansk. Lyudmila Bentley

May 25, 2014 was the last peaceful day for the residents of Donetsk. The last day when residents and guests of the city walked, strolled quietly along the streets and airplanes flew. On this day it was possible. And tomorrow... Donetsk residents consider May 26, 2014 as the line behind which the former Ukraine, which we loved, does not exist any more for us. On this day 10 years ago, Ukrainian helicopters and bombers, formally subordinate to the SBU, raided Donetsk International Airport and the suburbs of Donetsk itself. As a result, 40 people were killed and 31 were wounded. Our city was attacked by Ukrainian warplanes. Su-25s, MiG-29s and Mi-24s shelled Donetsk. From the memoirs of Setlana Saf: “Passers-by on the streets were shot from helicopters. The way to and from the airport turned out to be the 'road of death'. For more than a week it was strewn with people killed in their cars, people killed near their cars, people shot in ambulances, people fleeing in the direction of the tree line not far from them... Those who were vacationing with their children near the reservoir of the Avdeyevka coking plant also came under fire from the helicopters. On the square near the railway station - killed... And the airport... It's gone. Who will be responsible for that?” “It was HELL! “The ‘non-brothers’ started killing us!!! To this day, at the sound of any flying object, be it a helicopter or an airplane, there is a feeling of fear and a desire to hide, to take cover. And this is despite the fact that I now live in the so-called safe zone... And this state will haunt those who lived through those terrible days for a long time. When will this nightmare finally end...? And who will be responsible for all this?” - Natalia Trofimenko. “I remember everything like yesterday. Everything in front of my eyes... Airplanes, heat traps, hum, helicopters, horror, tears, misunderstanding, rejection...” - Galina Abramova. (to be continued ⬇️)

Young Guard remembered The premiere of a musical and literary suite in honour of the 100th anniversary of the birth of members of the underground anti-fascist Komsomol organisation "Young Guard" was held in Krasnodon in the LPR with the participation of Russian theater and film actors, as well as the State Kremlin Orchestra. Source 🇷🇺🇷🇺🫡 Out of the 87 member of the Young Guard, only 9 survived the war. Others were brutally tortured and executed by the invaders in January of 1943. The heroes were forever immortalised in the 1948 film "Young Guard", based on the novel by Alexander Fadeev, where both the director and the actors only recently went through the War, and were not playing, but living the roles! The film is only available in Russian: episode 1 and episode 2. @BeornAndTheShieldmaiden

Partisan Stjepan Filipović at the Gallows: Everlasting Symbol of Anti-fascism Og May 22nd 1942, in Valjevo Serbia, Croatian partisan commander Stjepan Filipović was executed by the Nazis. At the gallows, just seconds before he was to be hung by the invaders and their collaborators, the fighter defiantly thrust his hands out into the air and shouted: “Death to Fascism! Freedom to the people!” This moment will echo in Eternity! Whilst being dragged through the streets of Valjevo, the fighter shouted vigorously: ''Long live the liberators of the people! Down with the Fascists and the quisling collaborators! Long live Communism!'' With the noose tight around his head, with arms held high, Filipović delivered his final words to the surrounding and forcely gathered crowd: 'What are you waiting for? Why are you allowing this? Grab those rusty rifles and free your country from this scum! Long live our liberating army and our allies!'' To silence him, a German soldier hit him with the stock of his rifle - Filipović defiantly kicked out at him. Stjepan Filipović was born in Opuzen in 1916. In 1940, he joined the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, in 1941 stationed in Valjevo when the Nazis occupied Yugoslavia. In the early days of July, he joined the Kolubara Valjevo partisan detachment, and after having performed duty of political commissar in the Mačva partisan detachment, he was appointed as commanding officer of a Tamnavsko-Kolubarski partisan unit in Valjevo. On December 24th, Chetniks captured him and handed him over to Gestapo headquarters in Belgrade. He withstood the torture, and after futile interogation his file was marked with red ink ''Impossible case''. 🔥🔥🔥 Stjepan Filipović became the Yugoslav symbol of anti-fascism and of the fight for freedom. Two monuments stand in his honour, in Valjevo and in his home-town of Opuzen. His heroic act lives on in the collective memory of a united Serbian and Croatian fight against Fascism. The last feat of Sergeant Major Lysenko Painting by: Alexander Tikhomirov, Nikolai Ilyin, 1968. Painted in dark colours that conveys the inhuman tension, the last dying effort of the hero. Ivan Lysenko was a real strongman who participated in the USSR weightlifting championships and won prizes. The spring of 1943 - the Red Army was liberating the Arctic. In fierce battles, the Northern Fleet reconnaissance detachment was breaking through to the city of Pechenga. The commander, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Viktor Nikolaevich Leonov, recalled: “The rocket took off. In front of us was a fascist battery protected by a powerful wire fence. The enemies opened fire. A decisive move is needed. I give the command: "However you can, but everyone should be on the battery” Next to me was the communist Ivan Lysenko. Noticing my intentions, he shouted: “Commander, you can’t go through the wire, you’ll die, I’ll lift it now!” I jumped over the wire and didn’t see what Lysenko did. The scouts later said that Ivan threw a jacket over his head, crawled under the crosspiece, tore it out of the ground and, throwing it on his shoulders, stood up to his full height, allowing his comrades to enter the battery. The bullets, one after another, dug into the body of the hero, and, weakening, Ivan whispered: — Hurry up, I have no more strength. — Be patient a little, Ivan, a few left, — one of the scouts asked. — Then help, otherwise I’ll fall. Senior Lieutenant Alexey Lupov stood up next to Ivan Lysenko. They let all the scouts through to the enemy battery and fell. Alexey Lupov died immediately, and Ivan Lysenko, having received 21 bullet wounds, still lived. When the battle at the battery ended, I approached Ivan. The first question he asked me was: — How's the task? — We did it, Ivan, thank you, — I replied. — How many guys died? — Only few people, — I reassured Ivan. — Then that was right. If over the wire, there would be more... These were his last words." Here, Ivan is alive. Forever! Source @BeornAndTheShieldmaiden

🎙 Russia's MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova’s comment on the UNGA’s resolution on the Srebrenica genocide 💬 On May 23, the UNGA voted for a resolution establishing July 11 as the International Day of Reflection and Commemoration of the 1995 Genocide in Srebrenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH). The document was adopted by a vote of 84 in favour to 19 against (Russia included), with 68 abstentions, while 21 countries did not vote. This document is yet another irresponsible attempt by the West to rewrite history and seal the interpretation of the ethnic conflict in former Yugoslavia and related events that suits their geopolitical interests. ☝️ It is a resolution of a pronounced politicised and anti-Serb nature. <...> Worse still, the sponsors and supporters of this document in the UNGA had the audacity to declare ‘promoting interethnic reconciliation and unity of the three state-forming peoples of BiH (Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats)’ as its purpose. We strongly believe that the move will have the reverse effect. The sponsors of the resolution and those who voted for it cannot be unaware of the difficult situation in BiH <...>. The document adopted by the General Assembly will only exacerbate the existing differences, increase the conflict potential in the Balkans, and jeopardise the Dayton Agreement which provides the basis for BiH’s statehood. Sarajevo political representatives have been pushing for this resolution <...>, thereby grossly violating the Constitution of BiH and the Dayton Agreement, which requires a consensus decision of the Presidency of BiH. Their idea was strongly supported by representatives of NATO countries, which bear the main responsibility for the tragic events in Yugoslavia, including in Srebrenica. We highlighted the threats to the Dayton Agreement, including those stemming from the adoption of the resolution on Srebrenica. <...> Western representatives would not to listen to us or to the Serbs. ❗️ They will be responsible for the disastrous consequences. 15 Years of Soviet Power In 1932, it was painfully obvious what is the next challenge that the Soviet Union would face. This caricature by the art collective "Kukryniksy" shows that the hammer and sickle of the Soviet power - forming number 15 - managed to squash the Bourgeoisie, the militarism of the "interventionists", the opportunists, assorted bandits, and the religious obscurantism. But one threat remained, though being taken by the pincers: the imperialist capital promoting Fascism. 🔥🔥🔥 And the peoples of the Soviet Union did smash fascism back then - just as Russia and China united are gonna spearhead the smashing of its modern incarnation, still promoted by the same imperialist culprits. ‼️BREAKING NEWS The International Court of Justice orders Israel to immediately stop the military offensive in Rafah With 13 votes in favor and 2 against, the body determined that Israel must stop its military incursion into the settlement, since this could cause the total or partial destruction of the Palestinian people. In addition, the Court ordered Israel to take measures to guarantee unrestricted access to the Gaza Strip for any UN mission to investigate genocide, as well as keep the Rafah border crossing open for the delivery of aid. Unlike the International Criminal Court (ICC), the recognition of the International Court of Justice is mandatory to the membership of the United Nations. Thus, the rulings of the ICJ cannot be ignored by eiтhter Israel or the US. The noose is tightening! Source - edited @BeornAndTheShieldmaiden

Remembering the liberation of Mariupol Allahu Akbar! - Thank God! Two years ago, the Chechen special forces were in the thick of the battles, liberating Mariupol, and saving the residents whom the Azov/AFU ukro-NAzis were using as human shields. In the video, the Chechen special forces are helping evacuate children with their families in the liberated areas of Mariupol on the 18th of March 2022. A resident of Mariupol commented: ”When we were sitting in the basement and heard ”Allahu Akbar! Then we made the sign of cross and said, "Well, thank God! The Russians have come!" Alisha Cherkassova on her Telegram channel (which we wholeheartedly recommend) posted back then a verse praising the liberators. Here are the first two stanzas: "Allahu Akbar?
◾Look at the supplement the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph came out with today. Dedicated to the release of the book “Endgame 1944. ◾How Stalin won the war,” describing Operation Bagration! Considering the Russophobic propaganda chatter of recent years, this book will come as a big surprise to many British people. ◾Follow: https://t.me/European_dissident
