Some people believe that after hundred years life will be easier for most of people, while others are unsure. What is your opinion? It is suggested that most people will have an easy life within a century, but some people are skeptical of this view. Even though it is reasonable to expect some new challenges in the future such as climate change and World Wars, I personally subscribe to the optimistic view. In many ways, life in the future can be hard for many people. The daunting prospect of climate change, for instance, means survival of our species is at stake. Rising temperatures threaten our crops as well as wildlife, giving rise to food shortages and famine across the world. Not only that, global warming is also believed to prompt a rise in sea levels, putting coastal cities at huge risk of flooding. These looming problems pose an immediate threat to our future, suggesting life will be a struggle for many. Adding to this issue is the possibility of World Wars due to growing global tension between the superpowers of the world such as Russia and Europe. If another global catastrophe such as a world war were to happen, billions of people would be forced to relive the atrocities of the pervious World War era like oppression, destruction, food scarcity, and mass homelessness. I, however, would like to believe there is a bright future waiting ahead for most people. Primarily thanks to future technology, work in many fields will be made effortless. More precisely, automation and robotization will liberate people of repetitive and tiring work, not least jobs in agriculture and production. Though this technology is only available in some countries at present, it is hoped that it will be readily accessible everywhere in the world eventually. Once work is streamlined through technology, life feels more enjoyable without mundane work. Additionally, improved food production methods and novel farming practices such as vertical farming and genetic modification are expected to cut down food production costs, allowing farmers and manufacturers boost production and fill food gaps in famine-ridden regions of the world. Considering billions around the world suffer from famine at the moment, this will no longer be the case in the future with promising advances in farming and agriculture, ensuring quality life for many. In conclusion, while the possibilities of global warming driven destruction and future World Wars would make some associate future life with misery and suffering, I reckon that life in the future will be significantly easier with advanced technology and new farming and production practices. #task2 404 words © Mukhammadali Sodikov

#TASK_2 #SAMPLE People have differing views about the effectiveness of small-sized classes. While some believe that language students can reap several benefits from studying in small courses, in my view, there are more important factors in language learning apart from the number of students in classes. There are several reasons why classes with a small number of students can provide more knowledge to students. One of them would be personalized attention. This means that teachers can focus more on every member of their classes and help them individually in terms of checking home assignments, giving proper feedback about their students' weak and strong sides, and guiding them to be more disciplined due to the limited number of students. Another huge benefit of being part of a small group is reduced distractions, which means that students, especially the younger ones, can escape some huge distractions, including groupmates or other external factors, and pay more attention to their studies because of the individualized concentration of tutors. However, I would argue that those who are dedicated, disciplined, and ready for learning can also benefit more from taking big classes. First and foremost, large courses can provide students with opportunities to learn from their peers and classmates, as learning languages with the collaboration of students could be more effective and time-saving, and students may also improve their communication and social skills by teaming up with their peers, which can be beneficial for these students in their future lives. Moreover, large classes do not only provide advantages to students, but institutions and language centers can also benefit from organizing bigger courses because of their cost-effectiveness. The reason is that it allows them to accommodate a greater number of students with fewer teachers and resources. In summary, even though small groups can sometimes be advantageous for students to be disciplined and controlled well, I am of the opinion that classes with a greater number of students could be beneficial for both language institutions and group members as well. #task2 It is now possible for scientists and tourists to travel to remote natural environments, such as the South Pole. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages? It is true that humans can now set foot in wild regions far away from civilisation. While I accept that this development can have certain benefits for the human race, I believe that it is likely to have a harmful impact on nature. On the one hand, undertaking expeditions to the wilderness can be valuable in terms of both science and recreation. There are a considerable number of undiscovered secrets that can be tremendously useful for researchers to conduct their studies. For instance, environmental scientists can analyse the data about the thickness of ice layers over millions of years in both hemispheres to predict the possible changes in global temperatures. Such findings are crucial for the governments to develop appropriate plans to alleviate global warming. Furthermore, the untouched beauty of these areas is usually appealing to travellers, providing people with an attractive option of holiday destination or excursion. However, I would argue that these positive aspects are outweighed by the drawbacks. When people are given full and easy access to the distant and unpopulated areas, there are likely to be more moving there to reside or start their business. It has been shown that substantial damage has been done to nature, such as massive deforestation or water contamination due to humans’ lack of environmental awareness. If there is inadequate protection of the environment from this type of action, wild regions in the world will no longer exist, unspeakably affecting not only the overall ecology but also the lives of other people. In conclusion, it seems to me that the potential dangers of traveling to wild environments are more significant than the possible benefits for the mentioned reasons. © Javohir [8.0]
