Hey there! I’ve been getting a bunch of questions about why these certificates stop working after a few days. I’ve explained this in some of my previous videos but now i’m explaining it and pinning here, I hope you’ll take a closer look at this message. I’m really hoping it clears up any doubts you might have!
Many of the free or shared certificates circulating on the internet And you use are actually leaked enterprise certificates. These were originally meant to be used by a limited group (like company employees), but once they start getting used by thousands of random users, Apple’s security systems flag this suspicious behavior and revoke the certificate.
In some cases, the original company itself notices the misuse and requests Apple to revoke it. That’s why these free certificates may stop working suddenly — apps installed through them crash or fail to verify. And in worst cases apple blacklist some of the devices those were using that free leaked certificates or used many in past (which revoked) - after this blacklisting user wont be able to install apps using any free certificates for few days, weeks, or month and some times forever.
✅ What’s the Solution?
If you’re serious about installing apps permanently on your iOS device, it’s better to use a personal certificate. These are usually tied to your Apple ID and don’t get revoked unless misused. If you’re buying a personal or paid certificate, make sure it’s from a trusted source to avoid getting scammed.
