Students should also note that the Centre has no power to close the University's registration but the students' registration on the University's Students Portal will enable the Centre to download their data to prepare for the CBT EXAMINATIONS scheduled for 2nd of September, 2024. The Centre will need at least three days for preparation such as Eligibility List, Seating Arrangements, Questions, Schedule into Batches 1 & 2 and Halls A, B & C. Registration continues till Monday morning before exam begins at 7.00am and students with genuine reasons should still come with a letter from Students' Affair Division of the University to the Centre on or before Wednesday, 28th August, 2024. Such students will still be accommodated for the GES Examinations.

Students can now check their eligibility for the forthcoming first semester, 2023/24 Ges Examinations on the CGS PORTAL via cgs.ui.edu.ng/portal. Eligibility indicates GES Course(s) you are scheduled to write, Exam(s) for, in a semester. To check: Steps: 1. Connect to Internet; 2. Type cgs.ui.edu.ng 3. Click on Student Portal at the top of this page or cgs.ui.edu.ng/portal from the browser. 4. Username: Your Matric No 5.
