It was when I entered Twitter/X that I realized some parts of Lagos experienced flooding in places that weren't previously known for flooding.
Before you rent a house in Lagos, make sure the building is not on low-lying ground. Also, as you're entering, it should seem like you're climbing upward before you reach the main apartment.
Why? Even if there's flooding in your area, a higher elevation generally reduces the chances of floodwater entering your apartment, even if you're on the ground floor.

Just always remember the undisputed marketing rule: when demand for something increases faster than supply, it generally becomes harder to get and more expensive.
