JOUR 1 : PALKHI YATRA 🪷

Une célébration haute en couleur de la foi, de la tradition et du patrimoine, au cours de laquelle des femmes se sont rassemblées pour participer à la Palkhi Yatra à travers Bussy-Saint-Georges.
Qu’il s’agisse de celles qui marchaient dans un élan de dévotion ou de celles qui observaient depuis les rues, la Palkhi Yatra a réuni des voix, des émotions et des points de vue.

A vibrant celebration of faith, tradition and heritage, as women came together for the Palkhi Yatra (devotional procession) through Bussy-Saint-Georges.
From those walking in devotion to those watching from the streets, the Palkhi Yatra brought together voices, emotions and perspectives.

Mme Eenam Gambhir, Chef de mission adjointe à l’ambassade de l’Inde, s’est jointe à Madame Pécresse pour le Deep Pragatya, cérémonie de bon augure, qui a été suivie par la Palkhi Yatra.

| 10 |  🙏 A striking folded-hand sculpture, symbolising welcome, respect and humility, was unveiled in Bussy-Saint-Georges today ahead of the Festival of Culture and the opening of France’s first traditional Hindu stone temple.
👏 The 'Namaste' sculpture was unveiled by local Mayor Yann Dubosc, Indian Consular Minister Shri Praveen Kumar, and senior BAPS swamis.

All those who have registered for the Jal Yatra in Paris should have received an email with details about their participation.
If you have not received the email, but are sure that you registered for the Jal Yatra, please check your junk folder, or email info@bapsmandirparis.fr with your booking reference.
With the Jal Yatra on Thursday, please make sure of the following today:
- You know which boat you have been allocated
- You have planned how you are getting there
- You have downloaded and set up the Île-de-France Mobilités app or purchased a Navigo pass
These essential checks will help ensure a smooth arrival for the Jal Yatra.
