the left side shows a big city gone corrupted. not ruined, just crowded, loud, overwhelming. a place where everything stacks on top of everything. a line cuts it off from the rural field beside it, and on that border stand ship like poles, heavy and unbending. demonstrating you can’t really escape from each side. on top of them are three figures, one dragging a burnt pole shaped burden, resembling the one on the border, almost trying to crossing over. beside him a man stands still. on the far left, a woman holds her child, losing herself in the weight of it.
on the right side, two figures merge and dance in blue peace clarity, breath, open space. a person runs from the city, shadow still tied to its red corruption, yet touching the ground of peace(blue), tasting both worlds at once
the left is chaos, layered and tangled, like a city always is.. complicated. the right is simple, open, understandable..like the rural, like breathing again.

i believe you can get anything you want from an art piece, but personally i enjoy explaining it when someone asks
