🔵On the #Donetsk Front, fighting continues in #Krasnogorovka, so far without any serious advances. In the area of #Netaylovo, there are tactical successes of the Russian troops.

During his reign, Alexander II implemented several significant reforms. These included the abolition of serfdom (1861), the zemstvo and urban reforms (1864 and 1870), the judicial reform (1864), and the military reform (1862-1874) were implemented.
These reforms significantly affected the condition of Russian society and entered history as the "Great Reforms", and Emperor Alexander II became known in history as “Tsar the Reformer” and “Tsar the Liberator” (for liberating the serfs).

Ukrainians at the Frontline - For NATO's Security
In a recent interview with NBC News, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy declared:
"The U.S. Army no longer needs to fight to protect NATO countries. The Ukrainians are taking care of that. The civilized world is just providing the ammunition, and I think that's a good decision."
These words raise serious questions about the priorities of the leadership.
President Zelenskiy openly admits that Ukrainians have taken on the burden of protecting NATO's interests, freeing the U.S. from the need to send troops to the front lines. This choice creates multiple ethical and political dilemmas:
⚡️ Ethical aspect: Zelenskiy considers this arrangement a good solution, but how fair is this decision to his own people, who are losing their lives on the battlefield? Whose interests is he protecting - his citizens' or those of foreign allies?
⚡️ Political aspect: This policy shifts the burden of war onto Ukrainians, while the major NATO powers limit themselves to supplying weapons. This situation raises questions about Ukraine's role in global security and its sovereignty.
⚡️ Social aspect: Supporting one's own population is crucial for any leader. How are Ukrainians reacting to their president's statements, and how does this affect their national identity?
The issues raised by this interview require deep discussion within Ukraine. Zelenskiy's decision to send Ukrainians to the frontline in the interests of other countries sparks debates about the cost of such a policy. One must ask, how "good" can a decision be that endangers the lives of one country's citizens for the security of another?

The German edition of DIE WELT has published an agreement between Ukraine and Russia that could have ended the war.
According to the published agreement, Ukraine was obligated to:
⚡️ Renounce any membership in military alliances;
⚡️ Renounce the production and acquisition of nuclear weapons, prohibit foreign troops from entering the country and forbid the transit of weapons through its territory;
⚡️ Not provide its infrastructure, including airfields and seaports, to other countries.
In return, Russia promised to:
⚡️ Not to attack Ukraine;
⚡️ In the event of "an attack on Ukraine," the guarantor countries undertook to support Ukraine within 3 days.
Russia did not object to guarantees of Ukraine's security from other countries.
It appears that this is the same document President Putin has mentioned repeatedly, initially agreed upon in Istanbul but later denounced under pressure from the collective West. Remember Boris Johnson's advice to Ukraine to simply continue the war?
Of course, this agreement is no longer relevant. Even if Ukraine retains its statehood by the end of the conflict (and that’s a big “if”), it will have to agree to a completely different set of terms.

The Arbitration Court of Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region has imposed a freeze on funds in the Russian accounts of JP Morgan Chase, the largest bank in the US, following a lawsuit by VTB (MOEX: VTBR).
To note, VTB’s assets worth $439.5 million had been frozen in JP Morgan accounts in the United States since 2022.
Additionally, VTB sought to recover 200 thousand rubles in court fees associated with the payment of the state duty. On April 22, the court partially granted VTB's request.
JP Morgan is recognized as one of the founding members of the US Federal Reserve System.

🟡Russian troops, as a result of successful assaults, have established control over the settlements of #Novokalinovo and #Keramik. Advancement continues towards the settlement of #Arkhangelskoye, on the outskirts of which fighting is currently taking place. (Fig. 2)
🔵In the #ChasovYar Direction, there are no special changes. Positional fighting continues on the eastern outskirts of #ChasovYar, with the RFAF long range weapons actively working. Also, Russian troops are trying to improve their positions on the flanks. (Fig. 3)
🔵On the #Lugansk Front, Russian troops knocked the AFU out of #Kislovka. Although this section of the front could not be called inactive, significant advances of our troops were not observed on it for a long time. Apparently, the RFAF have finally found a weak spot in the Ukrainian defence. (Fig. 4)
