We approached these discussions as two independent technology organizations addressing an important trademark matter professionally and in good faith, with mutual respect for each organization’s identity and legal rights. Scale AI holds U.S. Trademark Registration No. 6,082,949 for the SCALE mark, covering services across data annotation, technical data analysis, AI-related training, and software. Their legal team raised concerns that the SCALE NETWORK name could create confusion with the SCALE mark, particularly because certain services offered by both organizations operate in closely related areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning. As we continue building SCALE NETWORK as a global technology company with a growing presence in the United States, operating responsibly within the U.S. legal and intellectual property framework is important to us. We believe that respecting established trademark rights is not simply a legal obligation, but part of the responsibility that comes with building a serious technology company for the long term. Following discussions between the respective legal teams and our own internal review, we have made the decision to transition our global brand from SCALE NETWORK to SIBLE NETWORK.
