Russian Werewolf Legion was a nationalsocialist group founded in March, 1994 by Igor Pirozhok, Viktor Baranov and Valery Starchikov, although the core of the group was formed in 1993. The group was strongly Hitlerian, pagan and anti-euroasianist, it rejected slavism and adopted the faith of Rus-Varangians, the Germanic pagan faith. The group also maintained regular contacts with Ukrainian nationalists from UNA-UNSO and with Croatian nationalists. Werewolf Legion also planned to carry out terrorist attacks, against, most notable, the Democratic Union, the Russian Communist Workers' Party, Jews for Jesus, and many more. Jacques Doriot Brigade was a special group set up by Michel Faci and Nicolas Peucelle (one of the first people to enter the presidential palace in Bucarest during the fall of Ceaucescu in December 1989). Most of the combatants in this group were French from various nationalist-revolutionary and third positionist groups, including militants from Nouvelle Resistance and Fédération d'action nationale et européenne (FANE).
