The beta source of @ProjectInfinityX v3.7 (QPR2) has been pushed to branch 16-QPR2 However you can still compile the last QPR1 source i.e. v3.6 (if you wish to) from branch 16 And similarly the QPR0 (v3.5) source from branch 16-QPR0 - The v3.7 source is a fully rebased update from v3.6 to v3.7, following the AOSP Android 16 QPR2 (Quarterly Platform Release). Despite the massive changes across the codebase, we have ensured that users can safely upgrade from v3.6 to v3.7 either via OTA or by dirty flashing, without needing to format data. - Even though every re-addition in QPR2 (v3.7) source has been thoroughly tested by me and things work fine, but I’m still the only one who tested it. And since users here are known for sucking every deepest detail of the ROM that a sane human like me couldn’t even think of… I’ve marked v3.7 as beta for now to handle any such "in-case" issues that may've occurred during/after rebase which I didn’t experience/visited but a user may. The official v3.7 rollouts won’t happen while it’s in beta stage and not before the February security patch. If you face any issues in the v3.7-beta build (source-side only), report them in @InfinityXGroup or DM me (@tejas101k) and make sure to mention that you’re on the v3.7-beta release. We couldn't do anything here.. However a solution the people found to cater this is: Go to: /sdcard/Android/data/ /sdcard/Android/obb/ Create folders with the app’s exact package name inside both directories. Then via a scoped storage supported file manager, example MT Manager: • Long-press the created folder - Properties - Permissions. • Set permissions to 777 for both the new created folders in data and obb --- Infinite Love! ❤️ Device Updates: @InfinityXUpdate Discussion: @InfinityXGroup Announcements: @ProjectInfinityX Website: projectinfinity-x.com

The source for @ProjectInfinityX v3.6 (QPR1) has been pushed to branch 16 However you can still compile the last QPR0 source i.e. v3.5 (if you wish to) from branch 16-QPR0 - The v3.6 source is a fully rebased update from v3.5 to v3.6, following the AOSP Android 16 QPR1 (Quarterly Platform Release). Despite the massive changes across the codebase, we have ensured that users can safely upgrade from v3.5 to v3.6 either via OTA or by dirty flashing, without needing to format data. Maintaining seamless updates without forcing data wipes is and will always remain one of our top priorities, as we understand how inconvenient formatting can be for users. Note that from now on we will never ask for a mandatory clean flash from source side. (If your device maintainer asks for it for his device tree side changes, we can't obviously help there) - Development for Android 16 QPR2 is still ongoing. The reason it has not been adopted yet or directly is due to compatibility concerns. Currently, the QPR2 AOSP release does not properly support kernels below version 5.10 (since they're officially unsupported by AOSP now). On some devices it fails to boot entirely, and on others, even if it does boot, certain functionalities such as the camera are reported to be broken. For these reasons, we have decided not to move to Android 16 QPR2 for the time being. - Another change in the v3.6 source is that system blur effects are now kept disabled by default. Recent enhancements to the default blur implementation on the AOSP side have proven to be resource-intensive on certain low-end devices. To ensure smooth functionality across all devices, blur effects are kept disabled by default. As a result, transparency effects in areas such as the QS panel and the app drawer will no longer be visible by default. Users who prefer these visual effects with capable hardware can easily re-enable them in v3.6 by turning on “Allow window-level blurs” under Settings > Display, which will restore QS panel transparency and other transparency/blur effects.
