Do you know the difference between preparing for the IELTS in two ways: first way is making the IELTS a big deal, not taking it easy (easy means here calming) and making it a matter of life and death, second way is exactly the reverse and the way we, with Jamshidbek, passed through. We, without any kind of jokes and lying, spent no more than 3-4 hours a day to prepare for the exam, we knew how to make the best of what we listen, read, write and speak. We focused on the quality of the preparation, not the quantity. With him, I vividly remember, we only did ONE READING FULL TEST before he set off to Tashkent, with deep analysis. That's it. But you can see his Reading band score is outstanding enough. We just relaxed while we were preparing, not because we took it before, but also realizing that IELTS is just an exam which tests our GENERAL ENGLISH, not the number of practice tests we did. Soon after this post, I will send the video about practice tests. For Speaking we just spoke in English when we prepared, but didn't memorize so-called fancy vocabs and idioms, that's the key to Band 7.0 in Speaking for both of us. We just used the right strategy for Writing without writing several essays each day. We didn't spend even 5 hours for preparation per day. It seems like unimaginable and unbelievable, but there is nothing false with what I said. If you know how to benefit maximally from minimum you did, then it is enough to analyze only one sample essay to understand the right approach in Writing.
