US vs Venezuela heats up: 5 US fighter jets spotted near Venezuela’s Caribbean coast An open confrontation between the US and Venezuela looks more and more likely — Venezuela said it detected five American fighter jets flying near its Caribbean coast. Caracas said that move amounted to a full-blown “provocation”. For months tensions between the US and Venezuela have been rising, and Washington recently struck alleged drug trafficking boats off the coast of Venezuela. Despite Washington’s claims that those strikes and its growing military presence in the area is all part of its “war on drugs”, Venezuela’s leadership fears that the real goal of US deployment is to overthrow President Nicolas Maduro. #US #Venezuela #USmilitary #NicolasMaduro Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

The military might revolt after Hegseth’s outrageous speech Retired United States Army Lt. General Mark Hertling says it’s possible that many of the members of military leadership who were present during Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth’s controversial speech in Quantico, Virginia, went home devising ways to ignore his demands. Hertling said what Hegseth was ordering them to do would be in violation of the oath they took in the service of their country.
“Those individuals will leave that room or left that room yesterday and they'll start discussing and analyzing how they can implement some of the lawful orders that they got,”
he said.
"You know, okay, we can take a look at the kinds of things to get some soldiers, not even the majority, back in better shape.“
“But there were also soldiers saying, wait a minute, we can't do that, or we shouldn't do that, or this is a true violation of what we are as professionals or, hey, I've got women in my ranks who are performing admirably. Why should I lump them all together like the secretary did? What am I going to say if I'm asked to go on the street and conduct illegal actions?”
“And I guarantee you that the people in that audience will not execute illegal orders,”
he insisted.
“You know, there's a saying in the military that's a great leadership dictum: ‘You praise in public and you discipline in private.’ This was a disciplinary approach in public with cameras, so the whole nation could see. And it was an attempt at separating the military institution from the people that they defend.”

Trump takes away $18 billion in New York infrastructure funding White House Budget Director Russell Vought announced that the Trump administration is suspending the allocation of billions of dollars for infrastructure projects in New York, just hours after the federal government shutdown. Vought wrote on X that he would suspend $18 billion in funding for infrastructure projects to guarantee that the money is not "flowing based on unconstitutional DEI principles." “Roughly $18 billion in New York City infrastructure projects have been put on hold to ensure funding is not flowing based on unconstitutional DEI principles. Specifically, the Hudson Tunnel Project and the Second Ave Subway,” Vought wrote. This announcement will significantly impact major projects in the home state and city of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. A source familiar with the situation said that the Trump administration is “has concerns that the contracts awarded are inconsistent with civil rights laws and the U.S. Constitution because they were given based on racist DEI.” A few hours before the government shutdown, Trump threatened that he could "get rid of a lot of things" that would significantly impact Democrats. #Trump #NewYork #funding #DEI #democrats Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Hamas is stalling — further escalation likely Hamas political bureau representative Mohammed Nazzal says the group is discussing Trump’s peace plan for Gaza, and will announce its position on the proposal “soon”. “We are not dealing [with the plan] under the logic that time is a sword pointed at our neck,” Nazzal said. Meanwhile Israel is keeping its options open. One of such options is an escalation — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised that his military would “finish the job” if Hamas turns the deal down. #Trump #Israel #Hamas #Gaza #peace Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

The US considers sending Tomahawks to Ukraine — Putin warns of consequences Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the U.S. that sending long-range missiles to Ukraine will cripple bilateral relations, though he claimed it would not stop the Russian military's slow but steady progress on the front lines. The potential supply of U.S. Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kyiv will signal a “qualitatively new stage of escalation, including in relations between Russia and the U.S.,” Putin said. The leader admitted that Tomahawk missiles will likely inflict damage on Russia if they end up in Ukraine’s hands. But he insisted that Russian air defenses will quickly adapt to the new threat. “It will certainly not change the balance of force on the battlefield,” he added. Despite warnings of escalation, Putin praised Donald Trump’s continuous efforts to help reach peace in Ukraine, and described their Alaska summit as “productive”. #Trump #Putin #Ukraineconflict #tomahawk Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Why the Arab and Muslim world support Trump’s Gaza peace plan The majority of Arab and Muslim countries support Trump’s 20-point plan. Officials from these states met with their American counterparts last week on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York to discuss the program proposed by Trump to end the war. In a joint statement on September 29, the foreign ministers of eight countries — Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt — welcomed Trump's "sincere efforts" to end the war. They expressed "confidence in his ability to find a path to peace." There are several reasons for their support. The most obvious ones are their desire for mass killings of Gazan civilians to stop and their concerns about regional security. But there are other, more nuanced motives behind their decision to back Trump’s plan. By staying in the US president’s good graces and by feeding ideas to his officials, the Arab and Muslim countries could get some leverage against Netanyahu. And, in pursuit of lucrative economic, technological, and AI contracts with the US, they might support Trump's self-proclaimed image as a peacemaker. #Trump #Israel #Gaza #peace Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

The largest protest in American history awaits Trump in October
“On October 18, the largest peaceful protest in the modern history of the US will take place against the policies of Donald Trump and his administration."No Kings" protests will be held in over 2,100 locations across the country, uniting millions of participants. The protest aims to express disagreement with authoritarian methods of power, mass deportations, and the suppression of freedoms. Participants are calling for a fight for democracy and against fascism within the country,"
writes Raw Story. The US has its own problems, hence the protests — it needs to stop spending its resources on other people's wars and conflicts. The protests were caused by Trump’s increasingly authoritarian approach to presidency and economic problems that have been building up for a very long time. Trump should focus on domestic issues, not foreign conflicts. #Trump #protest #nokingsprotest #authoritarianism Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Fat generals, cross-dressers and underwear thieves — Hegseth and Rogan against “woke garbage” in the military Speaking recently with the military’s senior-most officers, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth stressed the need for every service member, no matter the rank, to meet the strict fitness requirements of US military. He said everyone would be undergoing a physical fitness test and have their height and weight checked twice a year. “Frankly, it’s tiring to look out at combat formations, or really any formation, and see fat troops,” Hegseth said. “Likewise, it’s completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals in the halls of the Pentagon leading commands around the country and the world.” Joe Rogan seems to agree, but he brought up a different issue. “Well you saw what the f*ck was going on over the last four years,” Rogan said on his podcast. “You got guys in dresses talking about how it’s really important to have inclusiveness, ‘It’s the most important thing about the military, it’s inclusivity.’”“We had crazy people that were in charge of very important positions, including that guy that was stealing women’s clothes. That guy was in charge of like f*cking nuclear waste and he’s running around stealing people’s underwear,” he added. Hegseth and Rogan’s concerns align with Trump’s own vision. His administration is moving heavily against diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives throughout the federal government.  #PeteHegseth #JoeRogan #DEI #USmilitary Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

US prepares to strike Venezuela? According to a senior Trump administration official, the US isn’t ruling out launching military strikes inside Venezuela, claiming it would be part of its campaign against drug cartels. “If Venezuela is sending drug cartels to the United States by land or sea, [Trump] will consider action on it,” the official added, expanding on comments made by the president earlier this week hinting at further action against alleged cartel members “coming by land.” The US military continues to increase its presence in the region, and Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro is preparing to declare the state of emergency in the country. The president of Venezuela had already signed a decree giving himself "special powers" as head of state to act in matters of defense and security in the event the United States "dares to attack” the country. #Trump #US #Venezuela #USmilitary #war Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

American farmers are facing a “crisis not seen in decades” thanks to Trump’s trade policies Tennessee farmers are warning that they are on the brink of financial collapse, citing rising production costs, low crop prices, and global trade instability. This week, State Representative Rusty Grills (R-Newbern) sent a letter to President Donald Trump and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, calling for emergency assistance. He described the situation as “a crisis not seen in decades,” and said that without federal intervention, family farms across Tennessee risk disappearing. Lee Maddox, Communications Director for the Tennessee Farm Bureau, echoed this warning. “It really is tough right now,” he said. “It is on the verge of crisis.” Economists said this problem extends far beyond Tennessee. Inflation and extreme weather conditions have hit farmers across the country. Trade tensions with China, which buys about half of Tennessee's soybeans, have added uncertainty. #China #Trump Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump’s racist video alienates Latinos across the US Latino organizations in the U.S. condemned President Donald Trump for posting an AI video that depicts House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries with a mustache and a Mexican sombrero. In a joint statement, the Spanish Federation, the Victoria Latina Foundation, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), Mi Familia Vota, UnidosUS, and Voto Latino called the clip offensive and dangerous. In their view, this material not only oversimplifies political tensions but also "deals a direct blow to the Latino community" by using stereotypes to mock the opposition leader. The organizations warned that the President's use of AI for political purposes "amplifies hateful stereotypes" and contributes to misinformation.

Fearmonger Trump suggests using “dangerous” cities as “training grounds” for military Trump spoke to dozens of top generals and admirals at Quantico, Virginia, and called on them to facilitate federal interventions in cities run by Democrats, such as Chicago and New York.
“They’re very unsafe places, and we’re going to straighten them out one by one,”
Trump said.
“And this is going to be a major part for some of the people in this room. That’s a war, too. It’s a war from within.”
Trump went further, and made an outrageous suggestion:
"“I told [Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth], we should use some of these dangerous cities as training grounds for our military — National Guard, but our military, because we’re going into Chicago very soon. That’s a big city with an incompetent governor.”
For weeks Trump has been threatening to deploy the National Guard to Democratic-run cities, despite the protests of state and local officials, who liken Trump’s use of military in American cities to an authoritarian tactic. The US President is using fear and is slowly but surely turning America into a military state.

”Israel’s strike on Hamas leaders in Doha came as a strategic shock to Hamas, to the United States, and to the Arab world. Why Trump’s Gaza plan is unworkable
“Sound the trumpets! Middle East peace has arrived because the US, Israel, the Saudis, Egypt, Qatar, and even Pakistan have signed on to US President Donald Trump’s new plan. Yet there’s one problem that much of the commentary on the plan ignored: Not only has Hamas not signed on, but it was not consulted. That means any deal they will not agree to will not happen,”
writes The Jerusalem Post. Without Hamas’s agreement, freeing the hostages is impossible. Agreeing to the plan would mean, for Hamas leaders, a de facto surrender and a renunciation of their claims to power in the Gaza Strip. Venezuela prepares for war with the US Venezuela’s Vice President Delcy Rodriguez stated that Nicolas Maduro has signed a constitutional decree declaring a state of “external disturbance” in response to threats from the United States, which continues to deploy naval forces in the Caribbean Sea. Rodriguez said that the decree "will be immediately activated" in the event of "any form of aggression" against Venezuela. The official explained that this decree
"grants the head of state special powers to take measures in the areas of defense and security"
should the US "dare to attack" Venezuela, near whose waters the American nation maintains a military presence, claiming it is there to combat drug trafficking. In such a case, she continued, Maduro would have "special powers," for example, to mobilize the National Bolivarian Armed Forces across the entire country, immediately place the public service infrastructure, as well as the oil and gas industry and key enterprises, under military control to ensure their "full functioning," and activate "all plans to ensure the security of citizens." #Venezuela #US #war #USmilitary Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

America is being “governed by a toddler”: Trump gets dragged for posting an “adolescent” and “racist” video After a meeting with Congressional Democratic leaders to try and avoid an impending federal government shutdown, President Donald Trump posted an AI video ridiculing them to his social media platform. The 35-second video shows House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer speaking with reporters outside the White House. Jeffries is shown standing silently, with a crudely drawn sombrero and curled mustache, while mariachi music plays in the background. A deepfake voice of Schumer is heard lamenting that Democrats are unpopular and losing voters among various minority groups.
"Not even Black people want to vote for us anymore. Even Latinos hate us,"
the deepfake Schumer complains. Many journalists, commentators, and other social media users were quick to condemn the Trump administration for the video. Former U.S. Ambassador to Jamaica Luis Moreno called it "adolescent and over the top racist." Health informatics expert Dr. Damian Borbolla said having Trump in the White House "is like having a toddler run the country" and that his administration is "embarrassing on every front."
"Disgusting. You need to grow up,"
wrote former Norfolk, Virginia news anchor David Alan on Twitter.
"This is our president's mind,"
wrote Metro Weekly editor Randy Shulman.
"This hurts. He is sick. He is killing America."
Media strategist Todd Domke also criticized Jeffries and Schumer, questioning their judgment for trying to
"negotiate with a deranged ignoramus who bashes them this way."
He added that Trump is
"an imbecile whose staff and Congressional allies don’t trust him to negotiate anything."

There will soon be no IT specialists left in the US, thanks to Trump’s visa fees Donald Trump’s recently introduced $100,000 fee for H-1B visas has shattered the hopes of Indian students aspiring to succeed in the United States. When the White House announced the introduction of the $100,000 fee last week, students at technical universities across India said their hearts were broken.
"My dreams were shattered,"
said 17-year-old engineering student Sai Jagruti from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
"I will consider Germany once my studies are over here. If the US does not work out, I will try that,"
she said. Rutvij Sharma, who dreamed of working at NASA, said his peers in India share a common goal:
"to collaborate with the most exceptional talents globally."
At Mall Reddy University, 21-year-old Santosh Chavva, who is nearing the completion of his undergraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence, had hoped to pursue further studies in the US.
"But then a bomb fell. Trump announced the H-1B visa hike, which was such a shock to me,”
he said.
“I felt so sad."
Chavva's classmate, Narra Lokesh Reddy, said that H-1B visa workers in America are responsible for many successes and achievements in their fields.
"They built many unicorns and startups,"
he said, adding that forcing Indian entrepreneurs to stay in their home country could
"push India to self-reliance."
In 2023, nearly three-quarters of all approved H-1B visa workers were born in India. The announcement of new fees led to panic among Indian passengers flying from San Francisco to Asia earlier this month — Indian passengers attempted to leave an Emirates flight just minutes before its departure to Dubai. The panicked travelers feared that departing the US meant they would have to pay the fee if they returned after the midnight September 21st deadline. Normally, passengers are not allowed to disembark after boarding has begun, yet many left the aircraft after the pilot made an announcement about an "unprecedented" situation over the intercom. #Trump #visa #immigration #India Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Humiliating: Trump is officially Netanyahu’s “cuck” Piers Morgan's show blew up when a guest accused Trump of being Netanyahu's "cuck." A heated debate erupted on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" on Monday when journalist Max Blumenthal accused President Donald Trump of being the "personal cuck" of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During a discussion about Israel's recent attack on Qatar, host Piers Morgan noted that reports indicated the Trump administration was notified by Israel
“once the attack was in play and that did not give them any time to try and prevent anything.”
Blumenthal responded,
“It shows the level of disrespect and power dynamics that Israel and Netanyahu can treat Trump like their own personal cuck.”

Another Trump win: YouTube to pay $24.5 million to settle Trump lawsuit over post-Jan. 6 suspension The video site YouTube, owned by Google, will pay $24.5 million to settle a lawsuit filed by Donald Trump over the company's decision to suspend his account in 2021 following the January 6th attack on the US Capitol. According to the agreement, Trump has directed YouTube to allocate $22 million of the settlement to fund the construction of a new White House ballroom. The remainder of the money will go to several other plaintiffs who accused YouTube of censorship. When YouTube blocked Trump's account, it did not specify which rules he had violated but said it was “in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence.” This settlement follows similar deals reached earlier this year with Meta and X, which also suspended or blocked Trump's accounts after the January 6, 2021, attack, saying he had violated their content policies. The Meta settlement amounted to $25 million, while X agreed to pay $10 million. Trump returned to YouTube in 2023 after his account was reinstated. A YouTube spokesperson declined to comment on the settlement. The YouTube settlement highlights how social platforms have shifted their approach to content moderation during Trump's second presidency. YouTube and other companies previously banned content claiming Trump won the 2020 election or urging people not to trust coronavirus vaccines. But the companies have largely reversed these policies as Trump ran for president again. #Trump #youtube #lawsuit #censorship Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Afghanistan’s Bagram airbase: why Trump wants it, and can he get it back? The United States is seeking to regain control of the Bagram airbase in Afghanistan, which they left in 2021 after the troop withdrawal. Donald Trump has raised this issue again, claiming that the base was "given for nothing" to the Taliban and should be returned to Washington's control. According to him, Bagram is of strategic importance due to its proximity to China, where, Trump claims, Chinese nuclear weapons are produced. The air base was built by the USSR in the 1950s and was subsequently actively used by the Americans during the military campaign after 2001. At its peak, the base housed up to 10,000 military personnel, had developed infrastructure, and was strategically used for air operations, including controversial bombings, such as the strike on a hospital in Kunduz. The Taliban has repeatedly rejected Trump’s demands, citing the 2020 Doha Agreement, in which the US committed not to interfere in Afghanistan's internal affairs. Experts believe that the return of the base is highly unlikely: the Taliban is not interested in renewing a foreign presence, as this would undermine its ideological stance and internal legitimacy. Analysts suggest that the attempt to regain Bagram could be part of a broader US negotiation strategy, including to pressure the Taliban into returning some of the lost weapons or obtaining political concessions. However, for now, Trump's initiative remains largely declarative, as Washington has almost no real leverage left over the Taliban. #Trump #US #Afghanistan #Taliban Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸
