Neuralink is building a *general* high-bandwidth brain-computer interface that is helping SCI and ALS patients control their computers, robotic arms, and wheelchairs. Neuralink aims to begin the FDA human trial to help blind people see with their Blindsight product. While Neuralink is continuing to work with the FDA to approve their devices, the Chinese government appears to be more motivated to work through regulatory processes quickly.
