12 ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Fraudsters released fake RLUSD token on XRP Ledger
XRPL developers have warned the community that the recently released token under the ticker RLUSD has nothing to do with the Ripple stable coin. Lead developer at XRPL Labs, writes:
I see the first screenshots from people who believe that RLUSD is already on the XRP register (XRPL). It was not released. These are fake tokens issued by scammers trying to sell worthless assets on DEX or through AMM. Do not participate.
The developers warn that the ticker and name in XRP Ledger are not unique, so it is relatively easy for scammers to take advantage of uninitiated users. Vet added that only the issuer account is unique and should ensure that this product is offered directly by Ripple.
XRPScan has already flagged the issuer of the fake RLUSD stable coin as a suspicious account. He noted that the account has already accumulated a significant amount of XRP due to token trading on DEX and AMM.

Now, here's the good news: the IDO rewards will start rolling out this week, likely towards the end. They will be distributed daily until August 22nd during XPMarket’s Summer Season. Each day’s rewards will be divided equally among all days in this period, and you’ll need to claim them daily.
