✅Divisibility by 8 A number is divisible by 8 if the last three digits of the number form a multiple of 8. For example: ✅Let's take the number 1,248. The last three digits are "248," which is divisible by 8 since 248 ÷ 8 = 31. Therefore, 1,248 is divisible by 8. ✅Consider the number 2,016. The last three digits are "016," which is divisible by 8 since 16 ÷ 8 = 2. Hence, 2,016 is divisible by 8. ✅Take the number 3,579. The last three digits are "579," which is not divisible by 8 since 579 ÷ 8 = 72 remainder 3. Therefore, 3,579 is not divisible by 8.
