New Message From [[$HIT Zone]] Quick update; those that listened to the Radix Rocket Lounge earlier this week would have heard that I am reducing my founder percentage from 5% to 2.5%, and my co-founder Haseeb is doing the same. We want a better and more fair distribution, and believe this will help the project as a whole, grow. This frees up 5% The reserves, 10%, which I initially thought would be good to have just in case are somewhat problematic. Ultimately, these tokens are in an account i control, and so doesn't give the confidence to the community, or send out the right message. Especially if we want good distribution. The reserves were earmarked for something that would help $HIT grow. And we have identified precisely that. So, we are putting the 5% from founders' shares, into the 10% reserves, and that 15% will go towards rewards for a validator node. We see ourselves as being a part of Radix for the long-term, and a validator node helps us achieve this in so many ways. We literally strengthen the platform, and the funds can be used for buy backs, plus further development. Essentially, It gives us options. There is obviously a challenge with attracting enough XRD to make it into the top 100. But I believe what we have accomplished in a little over a month, and how hard we are working and progressing, puts us into a position where we can do this! The question then becomes, if we have a validator node, how would the community like their rewards. 100% $HIT, or a mix of $HIT and XRD. I'll put a poll up to gauge sentiment, but would be great to have this as an open discussion here too 😊

FIRST 50 GET EXTRA REWARDS Additionally the first 50 delegators to stake at least 50K on the EDGE CLUB validator will receive 160M $EDG. So long as they keep their XRD staked for the first month. (Each individual wallet can claim up to 5 spots. That means if you stake 250K XRD you get 5 spots) The APY will not be the highest right away, but that’s the trade off of staking on a memecoin validator. You earn a higher percent of a supply that has the potential to increase in value. The coins you earn today have the potential to gross a higher APY in the near future. THE EDGE WAY There is one large difference between staking on the EDGE CLUB validator and others. We like to do things in a fair way. The 100% fee with enough XRD staked will gross more than enough XRD to support the buyback system, refill the reward reserves, support the team, and allow us to continue building on Radix. However, it allows us to bring in enough for all of that plus more. So to make things fair, we’ve decided that when the EDGE CLUB validator hits 25M XRD staked, we will drop the fee by 10%. And continue dropping the fee by 15% every time the XRD staked grows by 25M. 25M staked - > 90% fee 50M staked - > 75% fee 75M staked - > 60% fee 100M staked - > 45% fee And so on. When this happens you’ll continue receiving the daily $EDG rewards mentioned above, but in addition to these rewards, start to earn XRD on top of that just like a traditional validator.
