The Leafistan truck protests are indeed effective. They are non-violent, have mass support and are causing problems for the system. Of course, as a result, the system is spinning their standard propaganda to demonize and malign these people. The same lying media that told us that the violent rioting, destruction and total lawlessness, not to mention the dozens of murders and fatalities that took place during the George Floyd riots were “mostly peaceful protests” that were “righteous” and “justified,” are spreading the media that the truck protests in Ottawa are reprehensible and that the participants are engaging in “violence” by disrupting the lives of residents and making it harder for them to get to work. Once again, the same people who callously promoted the arbitrary policies and restrictions that resulted in massive infringements of civil liberties and the loss of livelihood for millions, are acting appalled that millions of people are refusing to get on board with their bullshit. Remember, “violent extremist ideologies” and “threats to our democracy” are just anything that the system and its entrenched elites don’t like. You can resist their tyranny non-violently and in a way that doesn’t harm innocent people and focuses on the source of the problem: politicians who don’t represent their voters, and they will of course demonize you with the same vitriol and slander that they use to describe actual mass-murdering terrorist groups.
