Since 13% of the mermaid population is responsible for 50% of the crime underwater, there's one potential suspect in the Nord Stream sabotage attack that we should be seriously considering but for some reason we're not.

“To be an enemy of the US is dangerous, but to be a friend is fatal." -- Henry Kissinger

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the United States or a NATO ally like the UK was responsible for the Nord Stream sabotages; in fact, gun to my head, if you made me bet who did it I would probably say NATO. All I'm saying here is that there's really no conclusive proof right now of what happened, beyond that it does seem to have been an intentional act, and that most of the explanations for a NATO motive could also just as easily apply to Russia. Neither side wants to let NS gas flow freely; both view it as a bargaining chip, and both stand to gain from convincing the world that the other faction is responsible.

This is also a moronic point of view. While the US hasn't taken a strong position against the continued operation of NS1, and actually publicly protested Russia closing it earlier this month, Washington has been a vociferous opponent of NS2 for the entire duration of the war. If Russia actually destroyed part of its own pipeline, half of which the United States doesn't want to see become operational, there is no justifiable casus belli.

If you're wondering why I'm far more skeptical these days of pro-Russian propaganda, stuff like this is a great example why. The pro-Russia people have become just as silly as the pro-Ukraine people, and so everything they say must be held to the same level of scrutiny. This dumb cooze thinks that a video from February 7th, 2022 suffices as an admission of guilt for a crime that occurred in late September, 2022. That's ridiculous. Biden was able to meet his objectives on NS2 long ago, as the United States got Germany to delay the certification of the pipeline indefinitely the day after Russia sent troops into the Donbass. This video proves nothing about who is responsible the events of the past day.

And yes, Western media that is claiming it absolutely had to have been the Russians are equally foolish.
