Dear Friends, we are launching our campaign! We are the Drones for Rojava team, a group of independent and dedicated youth committed to supporting the defense efforts in Rojava. In light of the critical challenges our forces are facing and the ongoing war, we have launched this campaign to address urgent needs. Throughout history, in similar struggles around the world, communities have rallied to support their defense forces, contributing in meaningful ways to ensure their success. Recent technological advancements by the SDF in countering occupation attacks have demonstrated the power and effectiveness of affordable technology, even in a region as besieged as Rojava. The introduction of FPV drones on the battlefield has proven to be highly impactful. Now, we invite you to join us in supporting and advancing these efforts. 📝MORNING REPORT - 28.12.24📝 The resistance against the Turkey's backed mercenaries is continuing. A YPG veteran Karim Franceschi stated: "The deployment of SDF elite units has shifted the momentum. Turkey's backed SNA forces are in full retreat. Heavy casualties, key axes collapsing. The liberation of Manbij is now imminent." The Turkish Ministry of Justice has approved the DEM Party's request to meet with the Kurdish Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The visit should happens today or tomorrow. Abdullah Öcalan is emprisonned in the Imrali Island prison since 1999, since more than 3 years in complete isolation. 1043 personalities from North Kurdistan and Turkey signed a declaration titled "Peace and democracy for all of us" against the policies of war and the lack of a solution to the Kurdish question. 📝MORNING REPORT - 27.12.24📝 In various parts of Syria, the Alavite population has been the target of numerous brutal attacks by HTS militants and other Islamist factions, accusing them of being agents of the Assad regime, Iran or Israel. In front of this situation the Party of the Democratic Union shared a statement saying "the PYD believes the solution lies in allowing the coastal region’s residents to govern their areas and ensuring internal security is managed by locals". Israeli forces moved on Wednesday into the countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, extending their advance beyond the ceasefire line. 📝MORNING REPORT - 25.12.24📝 More and more reports are being shared indicating an increase in violence, including looting, robbery and executions, against Christian and Alawite communities in various parts of Syria, carried out by jihadist militias linked to the current Syrian state or to Turkey. In response, demonstrations were organised in various Syrian towns and villages, including the capital Damascus. Some Christian communities are calling for the right to autonomy and armed self-defence against all attacks. Iranian authorities have arrested 10 individuals who participated in the "Women, Life, Freedom" uprising and sentenced them to death. 📝MORNING REPORT - 24.12.24📝 In the frame of the “Martyr Aziz Arab Manbij Campaign” SDF launch counter-offensive at the Tishreen Dam, re-taking several villages between the Euphrates River and Manbij city. Rojava Information Center (RIC) records 165 military personnel from SDF, 11 Asayish (internal security forces) and 68 civilians killed in Turkish/SNA attacks since December 29th, plus 73 civilians wounded. A massive demonstration was held in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, in support of the resistance of Rojava in the face of attacks by Turkey and its mercenaries, calling for ‘the unity of the Kurdish people’. 🔴 HAPPENING NOW - SDF begins new offensive, retaking lands in Minbic from the SNA/Turkey After weeks of heavy clashes at the Tishreen Dam the SDF have begun a new offensive against the invading SNA/Turkish forces. This morning the SDF began the Şehîd Aziz Arab Campaign to advance into Minbic and force the SNA back. At around 1.30pm local time the SDF expelled the SNA from the village of Qişlê. So far the SDF have destroyed 1 tank and 5 vehicles of SNA/Turkey, captured one enemy fighter and collected the abandonned bodies of 10 enemy fighters. The main aim of the visit was to convince Jolani to take active action against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Jineoloji Institute shares their analysis of the current situation in Syria The hostility of Turkey and its gangs against women reveals the two-line war in Syria. People’s leader Abdullah Ocalan, predicted for the 21st century: “Either Socialism or Barbarism”. We can interpret this as “Jin, Jiyan, Azadî” (Woman, Life, Freedom) or “Men, State, Violence”. Hegemonic forces have used the ongoing third world war, whose center is the Middle East, to put a new plan into action in Syria as of November 27. According to information from local sources, since the summer, the gangs that have been holding training camps in Idlib and Rehyanli, have put forth a new version of their training course: “train and equip” and then have been releasing their trainees into the field in Syria. The events that are taking place in the last days of 2024 at a mind-boggling speed indicate how the year 2025 will pass. Of course, within this plan, every hegemonic power has a new plan of its own.
