🚶BAPS Annual Charity Challenge 2026 – Sunday 5 July 2026
Our Annual 10K Charity Challenge takes place to this weekend! A big thank you to all that have registered and have started to raise funds for all the noble causes that our Mandir supports.
This year we are also supporting Epping Forest Heritage Trust and Samaritans.

🖋 Registration: 10.15am (please do not arrive before this time to register).
🥁 Opening Ceremony: 11:00am
🏃♂️ Challenge: 11.15am to 2.00pm (Grange Farm)
📍 BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Mandir Lane, Chigwell IG7 6ED
🚌 Shuttle services to/from Chigwell Station will run from 10.00am to 11.15am, and after the event.
🍽 Light lunch will be provided after the challenge.
❌ Due to this event, there will be no sabha taking place on Sunday 5 July.

Please take note of the following road closures over the next few days that will restrict access to Mandir Lane.
Location: A113 High Road in Chigwell, specifically from Chigwell Rise and Grange Farm roundabout.
Schedule: Works are scheduled for three nights starting Wednesday 24 June 2026 from 8.00pm to 5.00am.

🌞 The Met Office has just issued a Red warning of extreme heat in South East England for Wednesday and Thursday this week. There is also an Amber warning in other parts of the UK, as well as high heat levels across Europe. Please take care.
