The ministry of education has rescheduled the release date of the SHS schools to the 2026 BECE candidates. This is due to the incomplete filling of students data to the cssps and WAEC platform
Heads of schools, parents and students are to make sure their data is well captured .
New date for the release of school to the Bece candidates is now 4th September 2026

| 7 |  Understanding the WAEC Marking Scheme
1.Objective Test (Paper 1): Scored strictly via a computerized optical mark reader (OMR) system. It is entirely right or wrong, calculated as a percentage of correct selections.
2.Theory/Practical (Paper 2): Examiners allocate marks progressively based on your steps.
M Marks (Method): Awarded for correctly applying a mathematical formula or scientific method.
A Marks (Accuracy): Awarded for finding the correct numerical or textual answer, given that the preceding method mark was earned.
B Marks (Independent): Marks given for a correct statement, diagram, or value regardless of the working steps.
