Sir, for a candidate with mechanical engineering the preference should be like this
1. Cat 18- Depot Material superintendent
2. Cat 17- Design & Workshop
3. Cat 18- Diesel mechanical
4. Cat 16- C&W
Note: Cat 15- Track machine belongs to Engineering department (Civil) but candidate with mechanical are also eligible and usually have more number of vacancies with lower cut off.
