yk, today was funny. haven’t seen any trade since monday, this xau setup looked really clean ngl, and i was looking to full port. was watching as the candles formed, getting my confirmations just as expected. all of a sudden, price didn’t hit my limit before breaking the internal range. for me, that meant the confirmation was no longer valid. i cancelled my limit, but i still wanted to force the sells regardless. had to call myself back to my senses. sometimes, u watch price move and start feeling like u understand exactly what it’s about to do. but that’s the trap. knowing how the market moves doesn’t mean u can predict every move. ur edge is what gives u a reason to take a trade, not ur confidence in what price might do. see now. still end the day w good bag, not from the sells but the other direction - buys. follow ur rules and stay disciplined, folks. that’s how u survive in this business.
