Polytechnic University strengthens international cooperation of BRICS+ countries After the opening ceremony, an active business program with the participation of the Rector and international services of SPbPU began at the Polytechnic University’s mount. The rector of the university held several important talks and also signed several cooperation agreements: 🔽 negotiations with the Algerian University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene 🔽 signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation between our universities and a memorandum on UNT joining the Russian-African Network University (RAFU) 🔽 Metallurgical company MCC Group (China) signed a memorandum of cooperation with Polytechnic University 🔽 signed memorandum of accession to the RAFU Kgabo Car Training center Read more about the Forum

Today is a significant day: we opened the Joint Polytechnic Institute of Xi'an University of Technology and Polytechnic 🥳 In the Joint Institute, we will train unique specialists of a new formation for innovative industry and economy. We are confident that graduates of the Joint Institute will become truly high-class specialists, and will be in demand not only in China, but also in Russia! In October this year, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping met and held talks within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative. Vladimir Putin emphasised the importance of developing Russian-Chinese relations for building a multipolar, stable world. Xi'an University of Technology and Polytechnic have been cooperating since 2019, when the Partnership Agreement was signed and the TU Xi'an-Polytechnic Internship Centre was opened. Our visit to China continues 🇨🇳 We signed two strategic agreements at once: between the St. Petersburg Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (SHO CAS), as well as between Polytechnic and SHO CAS.

No sooner had the BRICS+ Forum come to an end than Polytech was implementing the principles of scientific, technological and humanitarian partnership, which are at the heart of the BRICS+ Forum. Today the Polytechnic delegation started its visit to China. We visited modern high-tech companies with which we plan to build long-term co-operation. With Zhangjiang Managing Company we discussed the directions of scientific and educational cooperation with universities, enterprises, industrial and innovative companies from Zhangjiang Science City and the creation of joint laboratories and centres for applied development. Today we also signed an agreement with the National Innovation Centre of Excellence - Yangtze Delta (NICE), which will significantly expand the range of projects already implemented jointly with JITRI and NICE, in particular, it will provide comprehensive support for the scientific activities of young scientists.
