Polydrive at Polytech 🔥 The Extreme Sports and Technical Creativity Club organized the Polydrive Championship of St. Petersburg in the Polydrive. 📍 70+ athletes and fans of auto racing took part in the competition. There were 3 stages in total, one of which was an innovative one. "Phygital" is a test in which participants demonstrate their driving skills on a special simulator platform. The development of the platform was carried out at the Polytechnic University as part of the research policy and the implementation of the project ‘SimRacing. The path from a car simulator to real racing’ under the program "Priority-2030". A large number of SPbPU students and staff, including debutants, participated in the competition. They pleased with successful performances.

International partnership news 🤝 Polytech and Kostanay Social and Technical University named after academician Zulkharnay Aldamzhar (Kazakhstan) signed a cooperation agreement. Universities will: 🔹 conduct joint work in the field of retraining and advanced training of personnel 🔹 develop joint educational programs 🔹 implement exchange programs for scientists, teachers and students 🔹 hold joint conferences and symposia 🔹 develop publication activity Cooperation between Russian universities and universities of Kazakhstan has been gathering pace in recent years. The number of students from the neighboring state increases by 10% annually. Almost 700 students from Kazakhstan are currently studying at SPbPU. An interesting fact: the rector of KSTU, professor, academician of the MAI Kadyrgali Jamanbalin is a graduate of our University. 😉

The anniversary international polytech week started at the Polytechnic. 🥳 130+ representatives of universities and organisations in Armenia, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mali, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan participate in open discussions, round tables, thematic seminars and working meetings in full-time format. The week began with a plenary session. Its honourable speakers were representatives of the Government of St. Petersburg, the administration of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, heads of universities in China, Kazakhstan and Armenia. They raised such relevant topics as the importance of training highly qualified personnel, the development of good-neighbourly broad ties and partnership networks with foreign universities, the priority of postgraduate partnerships. International student competitions - Recathon engineering and robotic hackathon - will be held for students and young scientists.
