Ela sugeriu que a “Mãe Terra” estava “limpando” o Rio Grande do Sul, um estado atualmente em crise devido a fortes chuvas. De acordo com a Defesa Civil, as chuvas já resultaram na morte de 116 pessoas e afetaram 437 dos 497 municípios do estado.
Cíntia fez a declaração em resposta a uma postagem no Instagram sobre um suposto churrasco realizado durante a inundação, dizendo: “Não é à toa que a mãe Terra está limpando o lugar que mais consome carne do Sul do país”. Após receber críticas, ela tornou seu perfil na rede social privado.
