"I'm afraid your son Alexander Constantine gave Banjo Heart-Lee a wedgie"
"He gave what a wedgie?"
"Banjo Heart-Lee, a boy in his class"
"Sounds like his parents shouldn't have bullied him with that name. I'm taking him out for ice cream for this one"

I wonder what Gunther Fehlinger is doing right now in the Axis Victory Timeline
"Sweden has done nothing to support our crusade against the Judeo-Bolsheviks and their Asiatic slave-soldiers. I call upon Ex-Sweden and propose making it a Reichskommissariat."

You like Smash Mouth? Their early work was a little too psychedelic-soul for my taste. But when Astro Lounge came out in '99 I think they really came into their own commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. They've been compared to Sugar Ray, but I think Steve has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '01, Steve released this; Smash Mouth, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "I'm a Believer". A cover song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of shallow faith and the importance of pretty faces. It's also a personal statement about the band itself.
