C++ LESSON 2 : ✍🏻✍🏻......🌿🌿🌿......✍🏻✍🏻             Operators ➾C++ uses operators to do arithmetic ➾Each operators uses two values (called operands) to calculate a final answer ➾C++’s have five basic arithmetic operators those are +,-,/,* and % ➾ module or remainder % is used in int data types otherwise it causes compiler time error          Order of operators      ()➺*➺/➺%➺+➺- 🙋🙋🙋🙋Exercise🙋🙋🙋🙋 (write your answer in comment below ) ❓ what is the out put of this program. # include <iostream> using namespace std; int main () { int x = 6 ; int y = 2 ; int z ; z = ( x * y ) % 4 + ( x / y ) - 1; cout << "z = "<<z<< endl; return 0; }          Data type ⓵. int ➾represent the set of integer numbers ➾ For a 32-bit machine  ⓶.real (float and double) ➾represent the set of real numbers ➾float is a single precision, 32-bit floating- point data type that accommodates seven digits ➾double is a double-precision, 64- bit floating-point data type that accommodates 15 to 16 digits ⓷.Boolean ➾represent logic values  true or false. ➾logical operators are and (&&) ,not (!)  ,or (ll) Used to join logical values ⓸. characters (char) ➾represent letters, digits, punctuation marks and control characters. For examples ‘A’ , ‘b’ ⓹. string ➾represent sequences of characters. For examples, “This is a string”, “A”, “3.1416" ❗❗Don't forget to answer the question❗❗ To make africa world of programmers share our channel https://t.me/Africacoder

Check the out put of the above program using this compiler

Simple c++ program // A Hello World program # include <iostream> using namespace std; int main () { cout << "Hello world"<< endl; return 0; } Out put : Hello world

⓹. Semicolon ; ➾statement terminator ➾Every C++ statement must end with a semicolon. ⓺. stream insertion operator << ➾ Expression to the right of the operator is inserted (sent) to the cout object (the display screen). ⓻. newline \n ➾escape sequence ➾The backslash is an escape character. ➾The character following it takes on a different meaning. eg, \\ prints a backslash \” prints a double quotation mark ⓼. return ➾exits from the function In this case control over execution is transferred back to the operating system. C++ LESSON 1: ✍🏻✍🏻......🍃🍃🍃......✍🏻✍🏻       Some Parts of the c++ Program ⓵. Comments ➾ a type of program documentation // indicates that the remainder of the line is a comment eg. /* comments can also look like this */ ⓶. #include < iostream > ➾ a preprocessor directive Tells the pre-processor to include in the program the contents of the I/O stream header file called iostream.h. ➾This allows us to use standard stream input and output objects like cout (displays to the screen). As you can see, we need to also code the using namespace std; statement. ⓷. int main( ) main function header ➾Every C++ program has at least one function, called main and there is ONLY ONE main. Program execution begins with the first statement in main ⓸. brackets {} ➾denote the body of the function Share our channel 👇👇 https://t.me/Africacoder

LESSON 4:      IMPORTING SCANNER CLASS IN | JAVA 👨🏽‍💻Scanner is a class in java.util package used for obtaining the input of the primitive types like int, double, etc. and strings.   ✳️To read numerical values of a certain data type XYZ, the function to use is nextXYZ().    ✅ To read strings, we use nextLine().   🔱To read a single character, we use next().charAt(0). next() function returns the next token/word in the input as a string and charAt(0) function returns the first character in that string. import java.util.Scanner; public class Firsta {   public static void main(String[] args) {         Scanner scanner = new Scanner(System.in);     System.out.println("enter some String");             String name = scanner.nextLine();               System.out.println("enter your age");       int x = scanner.nextInt();       scanner.nextLine();       System.out.println("what is you departent? ");       String dep =scanner.nextLine();                         System.out.println("your name is: "+name);             System.out.println("your age is:"+ x);             System.out.println("your in "+dep+" departement now!");           } } JOIN US https://t.me/Africacoder

Ke LESSON 2 የቀጠለ 😊 LESSON 3 ASSIGNMENT    ✅> Every variables is assigned  data type that designates the type and quantity of value it can hold.    ✳️<> as many of you guess , variable is a name given to a memory location. ⚜️During declaration of a variable, we nedd to take care of two things                    1. Dataype                     2. Dataname Similarly , we can initialize variables by assigning values in two ways:                     1.variable initialization//                     2. Assigning value by taking input from user// /look the  snippet code below with different  dataypes and initializations public class Firsta {   public static void main(String[] args) {     long x = 2345267;     float y =3.45f;     boolean z = true;     char ch = '@';     String str ="learn to code!!";                             System.out.println("the number is: " +x);     System.out.println(y);       System.out.println(z);       System.out.println(ch);       System.out.println(str);

💻LESSON2🔖✍️ #Compiling a Program Compiling converts the source files that you write into bytecode that can be executed by a Java Virtual Machine. The source file has a #.java extension. It also defines a public class of the same name. For example, the class, 'SayHello', must be saved in a file called SayHello.java. To compile the SayHello source code, perform the following steps: 👉🏿1. Go to the directory where the source code files are stored. 🖇2. Enter the following command for each .java file that you want to compile (Note that the .java extension is required.): Example: javac SayHello.java After the compilation has finished, and assuming no compilation errors have occurred, you should have a new file called <classname>.class in your directory for each source code file that you compiled. Example: SayHello.class REMARK:🧠👁 A Java program can output data in many ways. Here are some examples: • To a file or database • To the console • To a webpage or other user interface [we'll see how? ...] ....CONTINUES.. https://t.me/Africacoder JAVA በቀጣይ ሌሰን 3 እንቀጥላለን -----🤗🤗 HAVE A NICE DAY 🙏

💻LESSON 1✍️ INTRODUCTION TO JAVA Java is one of the most popular and widely used programming languages. Java has been one of the most popular programming languages for many years. Java is Object Oriented. However, it is not considered as pure object-oriented as it provides support for primitive data types (like int, char, etc) The Java codes are first compiled into byte code (machine-independent code). Then the byte code runs on Java Virtual Machine (JVM) regardless of the underlying architecture. Java syntax is similar to C/C++.👉🏿 But Java does not provide low-level programming functionalities like pointers. Also, Java codes are always written in the form of classes and objects. Java is used in all kinds of applications like🤳 Mobile Applications (Android is Java-based), desktop applications, web applications, client-server applications, enterprise applications, and many more. 🤔When compared with C++, Java codes are generally more maintainable because Java does not allow many things which may lead to bad/inefficient programming if used incorrectly. 🔖For example, non-primitives are always references in Java. So we cannot pass large objects (like we can do in C++) to functions, we always pass references in Java. One more example, since there are no pointers, bad memory access is also not possible. When compared with Python, Java kind of fits between C++ and Python. The programs are written in Java typically run faster than corresponding Python programs and slower than C++. Like C++, Java does static type checking, but Python does not. #code1 //a java program to print "learn to code" public class LTC { public static void main(String args[]) { System.out.println("Learn To Code"); } }

5 Coding Tips to improve your coding skills ☑️ Set up version control (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket) and perform regular commits, even individual projects. Apply it to projects where you work alone, and you won't regret losing data or knowing why something was working yesterday. ☑️ Learn concepts, not syntax. If you understand the concepts and paradigms of programming, you can quickly learn any language's syntax. ☑️ Use Meaningful Names, Methods, classes. ☑️ Technology is constantly changing. If you're going to get into this world, know that you will be learning throughout your career. ☑️ Take your breaks; if something doesn't work, don't loop yourself trying to fix it; take a break and wait for the next day. __ @AFRICAN CODDER😊
