Advice and Warning
Advice: In Arabic advice is urging someone to do something good and commendable. In Arabic it is expressed by stating the thing that being adviced to do as a single word or repeated twice such as
الصدق
الصدق الصدق
Here we can't just translate the English word for الصدق alone without anything else. The translator needs to understand the implied meaning in Arabic which is
الزم الصدق، تمسك بالصدق، كن صادقاً الخ...
And according to this the translation should be
Be truthful
Stick to truth
Abide to truth etc....
We can also preced these expressions with such translation
I recommend that you be truthful
It is better for you to stick to truth
I advise you to abide to truth etc....
* We should note that the whole context of the text is what determines what expression to use
Warning: In Arabic warning is urging someone to avoid doing something bad and hateful. In Arabic it is expressed by stating the hateful thing once or repeated twice such as.
التهاون او
التهاون التهاون
Same with advice the translator should understand the implied meaning which is
اياك والتهاون، اياك والتهاون الخ...
And according to that it should be translated as
Beware of carelessness
Avoid carelessness etc...
Also we can preced it with expressions like
I advise you against carelessness
I recommend you to avoid carelessness etc....
