When the beloved Prophet ﷺ passed by and Hassaan saw him, he returned the money to Quraysh and declared, "This is yours; I have no need for it. As for what you wanted me to mock, know that I testify that he is the Messenger of Allah." When asked why he returned the money, he responded with this poetry: "When I saw his lights shining, I put my hand over my eyes in fear. Fearful for my sight from his beauty, I will not look at him beyond my capacity.
