| 3 | ◂5 SENSES GAME▸ - it's a cool and engaging game for young learners. It is especially interesting in summer while walking, but you can also play all year round in different rooms or even at home with your own children.
The kids take turns to spin the arrow, roll the dice or take a card (let them choose the way they like the most), look around and answer the question: What can you see/hear/touch/taste or smell in this room/park (or wherever you are)? After the young researchers have explored several items according to the senses, you can change the location by going to another room or outside. 👀

| 5 | A couple of ideas for Describing animals.
☝️ Can be used to repeat the names of animals, body parts, colours, as well as to practice and consolidate the following grammar structures: has got/hasn't got, likes/doesn't like, can/can't.
🔎 READING: Search for missing animals.
Hide animal cards in the classroom. Children are detectives. Deal the cards with the descriptions (or make your ones) between the students. They should be suitable for the level of your students (blanks are attached). Kids read the texts and find the appropriate animals.
The best detective is considered to be the one (a pair or group), who finds more animals for a certain period of time.
✍️ WRITING. Zookeepers.
There are new animals in the zoo. But before letting visitors in, zookeepers should prepare the descriptions of all the inhabitants, their preferences and abilities for the guests to read (blanks are attached).

| 6 | Summer Word Search Bundle: 12 Easy, Medium, and Hard Puzzles With Answer Keys. Turn a boring word search into an exciting "Wordsearch Auction.
How to play:
1. Divide the class into teams and give each one some "game currency" (for example, 100 points). You announce a word that is hidden in the grid. Teams then bid against each other to see who can find it faster.
2. The team that bids the most points wins the right to search for that word. If they fail to find the word within 30 seconds, they lose those points. The winner is the team that "bought" and successfully found the most words.

| 17 | Turning summer vocabulary practice into an exciting adventure! Here are a few ideas on how to use the "Collect the Summer Words” worksheets in a summer camp or during your lessons:
1. "Pack Your Suitcase" Team Quest
Divide the children into teams and give each team one worksheet.
The goal: Be the fastest to "collect" the words and label the pictures correctly.
Bonus point: Earn an extra point for each Present Simple sentence made with the word. For example: "I always wear sunglasses in summer" or "She builds a sandcastle on the beach."
2. "Physical Spelling" Game
If you are teaching outdoors, turn the paper worksheets into an active game. Write down word parts (from the yellow circles) on separate sheets of paper and scatter them around the area. Show the kids a picture (e.g., a crab). The children must run to the correct syllables ("cr" and "ab"), bring them to the teacher, and shout out the complete word: "Crab!"

| 20 | The final lessons are just around the corner.
Check out this idea on how to use "End of the Year Bingo" as a fun "Predictive Bingo" activity.
Before starting the survey, ask your students to randomly write the names of their classmates in each cell — someone they think fits that specific description. Then, they go around the room to test their ideas by asking those specific classmates targeted questions. If their guess is right and the person confirms the fact, they circle the cell. The winner is the one whose intuition proved strongest with the most matches. Or you can use it like an ordinary bingo.
