I was talking with a really smart, really good friend about the Israel/Gaza thing.  Full disclosure:  we have different perspectives on the situation.    Anyway, he brought up something with which I have to agree:   The optics of the situation are not good for Israel.   His statement forced me to think.  What could explain Israel pressing forward as they are with the optics so out of favor?  I mean, these are really bad optics.    I came up with four possibilities.  You might find others:   1.        The Israeli government is stupid. 2.        The Israeli government is intentionally seeking to look bad and potentially destroy their own country. 3.        The Israeli government is not in charge of their own country. 4.        The Israeli government knows their actions are just and are willing to wait for public knowledge/opinion to catch up.   I think the first two options are unlikely.  Hopefully you agree with that.   The third option is a possibility.  Perhaps the globalists seek to destroy Israel with optics and public opinion.  They certainly have the AP/MSM in their pocket on the outside, and they certainly have a deep state pulling strings on the inside.   Count that one as “possible”.   The fourth option is the most likely, IMHO.   Could this be a 5D chess play in the Trumponian style?  I think so.  Time will tell.   Until we know the truth, I stand by Israel to use whatever force necessary to defend their nation.  If the terrorists bring the fight to the civilian neighborhoods and hospitals, do what you can to avoid collateral casualties, but fight the war with conviction.  Show people you’re tired of the BS and it ends here.

There are at least two conservative outlets that are staunchly anti-weed: Prager U and Epoch Times. IMO, their positions are irresponsible and are rooted in the “Reefer Madness”dogma of yore. When you study how the anti-weed propaganda began, you’ll realize we’ve been played. <insert gasp of surprise here> When you study the medical properties of cannabis and its relative safety, you’ll be pissed that you were played. … especially when you realize that 1) alcohol is a legal drug and 2) it’s so dangerous it kills 10s of thousands of people per year and destroys the lives of 100s of people per year.
