For more than a month, the #WYF x #CheburashkaTraveler flash mob has been running online: participants of the World Youth Festival are taking photos of the mascot in their hometowns 👍 But sometimes they share not only photos, but also very cool stories: In Guatemala, Cheburashka visited the Congress of the Republic and also visited children as an honorary volunteer for the country's Supreme Electoral Tribunal 🇬🇹

The program of the Congress of the International Council of the WYF Directorate was filled with business meetings 🟢 Within the framework of one of them, Daniil Bisslinger, Advisor to the Head of Rosmolodezh on international division, Director General of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization «WYFD» met with the Heads of the National Committees of the WYF Directorate of Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Bahrain. 💬 What was discussed at this meeting? «We are very happy to develop our cooperation. First of all, we would like to open a Russian House in Kuwait, where our young people can study the Russian language and learn more about Russia and its culture. We would also like to develop academic exchanges between our countries. We would be happy to see Russian students in our universities, to teach them Arabic language and culture. Such exchanges will only strengthen cooperation between our countries,» said the Head of the Kuwaiti National Committee, Alajmi Fnyees S M D A.

«We are talking about the need to establish such a center not only in Oman but in all Gulf countries. The center would help expand cultural exchange between our states - it could hold lectures, seminars, Russian language courses and art exhibitions.
