17 Community Food Co-ops
Why not get together with a few people in your own community and each decide to grow a few different things and then help each other with any growing issues etc and then you can do food swaps with what you grow.
You might decide to start small and then invite others to join in and ensure everyone is contributing and helping and then able to share what is grown. Like a community garden so to speak.
Sometimes it can be challenging to find a community space and it's more convenient to be able to do it in your own yard where you can easily attend to what needs to be done.
Even starting with one or two vegetables can help subsidize the weekly food bill.
Use your food scraps to fertilise the garden beds and thus putting all the scraps back into the earth.
Use the cut off bottoms of spring onions and celery to get them going again so it just keeps circling around.
