FREE SPEECH: "The education system has softened my generation because if you have an opinion you risk having the 'wrong' opinion" (Montgomery Toms)
We must inspire young people to get involved in protecting free speech - it’s their future under threat

Family Farms Tax "another significant blow to the farming community"
- Lewis Jackson, student Royal Agricultural University
Food security is under threat
Death taxes will force small farms to sell up, putting food production and rural livelihoods at risk

Why is Labour taking cues from global tech elites with a commercial interest in ID systems?
Tech tycoon Larry Ellison "wants to put all US citizens' data - including DNA - in one big system for AI to study"
Ellison funded Tony Blair Institute w/£200m

ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: "Ultimately, I just don't trust that this won't be abused"
"We should be looking to make people's lives better by relieving pain (not trying to kill them)"
Outside Parliament TODAY against the Assisted Suicide Bill
This Bill has been dangerously weakened - not strengthened
Despite promises of world-leading safeguards, the Committee stage has stripped out key protections, making the Bill riskier for the vulnerable
MPs must take this seriously

FAMILY FARMS TAX:
"I do not agree with the Inheritance Tax... I think British farmers deserve more support"
This also hits thousands of small businesses - not only farmers. Rachel Reeves tax changes could affect tens of thousands of SMEs - which employ 60% of all private sector workers
"Death taxes" are immoral as well as damaging - scrap IHT for all

ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: "Kill the Bill not the ill" (Montgomery Toms)
Outside Parliament against the Assisted Suicide Bill
This Bill would change the NHS forever
Under this Bill, the NHS would shift from preserving life to ending it - a fundamental change to the relationship between citizen and state
MPs must take this seriously

"Whether or not you're in favour of assisted suicide in general, this bill is not the way to do it"

It’s often said that no one who’s watched a loved one in pain could oppose the Assisted Suicide Bill. It just isn’t true.
Many people have endured exactly that heartbreaking experience and still have serious, principled concerns about this Bill.
Florence Eshalomi MP describes here how she cared for her mother, who had Sickle Cell Anaemia.
She says: “As a teenager I would be by her side, when she was in excruciating pain.”
Despite this, she is against the Bill, arguing “we should be helping people to live comfortable, pain-free lives on their own terms, before we think about making it easier for them to die.”
The vote could be as soon as Friday 13 June - and will be very close.
Even if you support the principle of assisted dying/suicide, this rushed and dangerous Bill is not the way to introduce it.

SURVEILLANCE: "I don't like being watched!"
Every system of surveillance starts with “nothing to worry about” - but changes quickly
We need a Digital Bill of Rights in the UK to protect our privacy & freedom

ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: "Only 30% of people who need palliative care actually receive it, and usually only in the last days, weeks, or possibly months of life" (Amanda Hunter)
We need better care, not assisted death
Without serious investment in palliative and social care, this Bill offers death as a cheaper substitute for real support

ASSISTED SUICIDE: “The concern is this Bill will harm more people than it will help.
“The big problem is coercion... it is not going to detect coercion & coercive control.
“The first families may know is when they get a phone call to say ‘could they collect the body?’”
Professor of palliative medicine Baroness Findlay
