🚨 Update on our Netherlands servers — what happened during the June outage, how your data stayed safe, and what comes next.
If you're reading this - our servers are already back online. Here's the full story:
On June 2nd, our entire Netherlands infrastructure went offline.Turns out MIRHosting — the company through which we were colocated at nLighten datacenter — had power cut to all equipment from all their clients, with zero explanation or official statement. Our CEO Alexandru Scutaru and CTO Eugeniu Croitorov flew out to the Netherlands immediately to handle it on-site. Meanwhile, our Moldova team kept things running — answering tickets, live chat, processing refunds, and setting up temporary replacement servers. We always knew your data was safe and intact — it was just locked inside the datacenter, which is why we couldn't provide backups during the outage.✅ Today, June 15th — we got our servers back. They're now live in a new datacenter under a direct contract. We're truly sorry this happened. Here's what comes next:
▎All affected clients get a free extension period on their servers, just open a ticket and we will do it for you. ▎Those clients who had a replacement server in Moldova will have a 7 day period when both servers will be active so they can sync the data at their own pace.⚖️ Want compensation? You can join our lawsuit — open a ticket and submit the following:
1. ID / Identity document Passport or national ID copy 2. Proof of relationship with the company -Contract/agreement -Invoices or payment receipts -Email or chat correspondence -Account/registration details (must match the ID) 3. A critical Linux kernel vulnerability known as Dirty Frag (CVE-2026-43284 / CVE-2026-43500) has been publicly disclosed and is currently being actively discussed across the Linux security community.
The vulnerability allows local privilege escalation to root and public exploit code is already available. Systems with shared access environments such as VPS hosting, shared hosting, CI/CD runners, containers, and multi-user systems are considered at higher risk.
