Heart and Cayenne. One of the fastest acting applications one  could ever give for the heart is  Cayenne pepper. It nourishes the heart immediately. Because of modern processed foods  most hearts are suffering from malnutrition. This info is more relevant today than at anytime previously and  something that everyone should know. A warm tea made of Cayenne or 20 drops of cayenne tincture  is faster working than any other  remedy and this includes  tablets or  capsules.  Cayenne  opens up the cell structure and makes it expand,  it can then absorb  the cayenne that much faster and travel  straight  to the heart, throughout  the artery system, and nourishes  and tone as it does. Super good and powerful. Dosage 1 teaspoon of Cayenne to a cup of warm water. Or a dropper of Cayenne tincture. If you carry around a small bottle of Cayenne, just one or sometimes two droppers full to a cup of warm water. Dont under estimate the power of this herb to save life. A small bottle of  herbal Cayenne  can be easily and conveniently  carried in the car or purse and may just save a life. Grown without pesticides, in herbicide free soil with biodynamic methods. Holy basil (Ocimum sanctum) This is such a giving herb. Easy to grow, without maintenance and bee friendly. Here are some  medicinal properties from this great herb.. Holy basil acts a natural protector of organs it also defends against physical exertion, industrial pollutants, heavy metals, stress and much more. Due to its rich concentration of phytonutrients, these include eugenol, oleanolic acid, carvacrol;   Carvacrol in particular is  very powerful antioxidant. Cholesterol. Good or bad …some causes and solutions continued. As I have suggested  in the last post Cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease  conditions. Below are the real cause for heart conditions and their solutions. Diabetes and High blood sugar. These two conditions can damage blood vessels and this is the leading cause of cardio metabolic heart disease. It is vitally important to follow a healthy, balanced diet, lots of fresh, whole foods, this will manage blood sugar. Homocysteine levels high. For your body to make protein your body needs this natural occurring amino acid   …. Too much homocysteine can contribute to heart disease.  To remove the excess homocysteine from your blood try Vitamins B12, B6 and B9 ( folic acid). Blood pressure high. High blood pressure is one of the main culprits behind heart disease unlike high cholesterol. What’s the best way to lower your blood pressure? Reduce inflammation. Which leads me to the final factor behind heart disease… Inflammation. CRP (C-reactive protein) test will measure increased inflammation in the blood. If the test shows you have high inflammatory markers, it is easy to successfully lower your inflammation with diet and lifestyle changes. Lower inflammation by eating a Mediterranean type diet, super rich in fruits, seeds, and olive oil, vegetables, seafood, meat such as goat or lamb, nuts. This food type has been shown to lower inflammation. And by the way, it is a great idea to avoid processed foods and sugar. So while you are on this health kick, a couple of hours of moderate exercise per week, this can lower inflammation substantially.  Activities like walking, swimming, gardening, whatever you enjoy doing. Movement in the fresh air is the key especially outdoors. When it comes to reducing heart disease risk, stop focusing on cholesterol numbers. Definitely forget any cholesterol-lowering drugs. They actually create more health issues and do not address the real problems. There are many herbs and non-drug approaches suitable for these conditions, such as Hawthorn berry, motherwort, cayenne, garlic, mistletoe, and bilberry.  Herbs for clearing out the plaque are chanca piedra, and gravel root. There are many other herbs however this will do for the moment.  If you are keen, a fast is always the best way to go, even if it is a couple of days only. The key point is the body is very forgiving, you just need to take care of it. One thing that is disturbing is that even now some researchers and many doctors are still pushing statins for something that is so easily rectified. Many blessings Hans the herbalist.💕

A particle of LDL that’s inflamed or oxidized can bind to the interior of the artery wall and cholesterol can be released generally part of a long process that can eventually contribute to formation of a plaque in the artery known as arteriosclerosis. If in the arteries of the heart we now have coronary artery disease, or heart disease. If for instance a molecule (more often than not LDL) can break into a compromised section of the artery wall and if there is a breach, many more cholesterol molecules can accumulate and take hold. If this happens it causes oxidation and an inflammatory response and this is much more important in terms of heart disease. So as you can see, cholesterol is a consequence and not a cause, of the oxidation and inflammation that damages blood vessels and leads to heart disease. In my next post, I will show some authentic causes of damage to the Artery walls that lead to Heart disease and how to deal with it Many blessings Hans the herbalist. 💕

Cholesterol. Good or bad. Don’t you just get sick and tired of listening to all the crap about “good” and “bad” cholesterol? And over and over you hear that too much cholesterol is so bad for your heart. Do you ever think that perhaps ‘too much’ is a lot of BS? As you age the fact is Cholesterol can be quite protective and beneficial to your heart and like most things beneficial to health big pharma has also made Cholesterol the enemy. Is Cholesterol actually bad for your heart? First of all Cholesterol is one of the most important and so misunderstood molecules in the body. It is essential for every cell in your body and brain to function properly. Human breast milk   contains significant quantities of it and for good reason.   For many years mainstream medicine has blamed heart disease on cholesterol and on foods that contain cholesterol. The interesting thing is this story goes way back to the 1970s when scientists had  found no association between consuming saturated fats in the diet and cholesterol levels in the blood. One analysis of 21 studies involving well over 300,000 people found that saturated fat was NOT associated with an increased risk of heart disease, stroke, or cardiovascular disease. A 15-year study of nearly 10,000 women ages 50 to 55 found that consuming more saturated fat decreased their risk of heart disease AND their rates of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure. To put it bluntly consuming the cholesterol naturally found in animal and plant fats doesn’t increase your blood levels of cholesterol…and doesn’t increase your risk of heart disease. The simple fact is it may even lower your risk. Ok! I can hear things ticking over in your minds  Doesn’t saturated fat raise the levels of “bad” LDL cholesterol in your blood? And my goodness, this will lead to heart disease? NO! IT WILL NOT! The “good” and “bad” HDL and LDL for you First of all we are going to look at how cholesterol functions in your body. Fats or lipids like cholesterol are not soluble in your blood, so off they go and they are carried into your cells bound to a protein.  This combo is known as a lipid-protein, or lipoprotein. We have low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL).  “High” density is that it has a higher weight—or a lower weight in the case of LDL. Here is an important point… cholesterol DOES NOT change its molecular characteristics based upon whether it’s carried in the blood by low- or high-density lipoproteins. Here is a Surprise… Some so called experts actually invented the concept that one type of lipoprotein is “good” and the other is “bad” when the “cholesterol causes heart disease” myth first began falling apart. These “bright sparks” say that, saturated fat raises LDL “bad” cholesterol. And it’s “bad” because it raises the risk of heart disease and in the same breath, they determined that lowering LDL cholesterol and/or raising “good” HDL cholesterol will save lives from heart disease. Ooops!  But there really is no such thing as “good” or “bad” cholesterol. Faulty reasoning and false and misleading science has carried this concept and what’s new about that..  How is it possible one type of cholesterol be “good” and the other “bad” when HDL and LDL cholesterol are the same molecule? Many studies have shown absolutely no reduction in heart disease mortality for people who lowered “bad” LDL cholesterol and the studies did not show a benefit to increasing “good” HDL cholesterol. Before I go on it DOES NOT mean that cholesterol doesn’t factor into heart disease, just to be clear it does not factor as the most important. So I will elaborate, when we come to Plaque in the artery we have a different story with cholesterol. If for instance a particle of inflamed or oxidized LDL can bind to the wall of an artery, things can happen and they do..continued....
