Recently, we announced the launch of our regular online #IAmRemarkable workshops, led by certified facilitator Julia Sevruk from Uzbekistan (eng/rus). The series has kicked off successfully, with Julia expertly managing the initial workshops. Here's a bit more about the initiative: #IAmRemarkable is a global movement that has reached over 550,000 participants and is supported by more than 4,000 facilitators across 180 countries. In 2023, Rmrkblty took over the initiative's curation, continuing the mission to make personal and professional growth accessible and comfortable for everyone. In the workshop, you will learn how to effectively talk about yourself and your achievements. Why? To help you get promoted at your current job, find your dream job, and feel more confident in any professional and personal relationships. This workshop is especially beneficial if: ↗ You last got promoted a while ago or have yet to receive new interesting projects, salary increases, or opportunities to attend conferences or meetups. ↗ You struggle to articulate your achievements and often default to general terms like "we as a team" or "my team did." ↗ You feel that talking about your achievements is bragging, showing off, or inappropriate. ↗ You believe there's no need to talk about your achievements because your manager should already know them. ↗ You want to learn how to present your skills and practice in a supportive, like-minded community. ↗ You think you have no achievements (which is not true). During this 90-minute session, we explored topics like Imposter Syndrome, stereotypes, and cultural influences that make it difficult to talk about our achievements.
