Summer Training in Physics and Chemistry (STIPAC-2024): (30th May to 10th July' 2024), at IGCAR, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu-603102.
Dear M.Sc Physics/ Chemistry students, this is to inform you, that Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) is going to conduct a six week Summer Training Programme in Physics (STIP-24) and Chemistry (STIC-24) for students entering their final year of regular or integrated MSc (Physics/Chemistry).
This six-week long programme will comprise of both theoretical lecture courses and hands-on laboratory experience through projects. This programme is aimed at motivating the students to pursue a career in research. The theme for this year’s course is:
"Quantum Materials".
About thirty students will be selected in each discipline (Physics and Chemistry). The selected students will be provided with:
(1) Local hospitality
(2) Travel expenses by sleeper class train/bus(non-AC)
