| 3 |  I read channels and chats, including developers, and realize that nobody really knows where TON is going. There is no clear vector of development. Blockchain was supposed to be the foundation of a new internet that would unite all other blockchains, but instead everyone rushed to launch tokens/schmokens, tap on the phone screen and buy gifts for Stars to decorate Telegram.
TON Core criticizes projects for creating smart contracts in one shard, yet they themselves call it an innovation to create two tokens in one shard and demonstrate how they can be instantly swapped there as well. What's the point if it's not scalable? Or does every shard now have to have its own DEX?
Others complain that the blockchain doesn't expand to more than 16 shards. But it's not clear why it's needed at all, if there are no high-loaded projects and few users.
And someone even makes EVM on TON - for whom? For Solidity developers? TVM is asynchronous, and they are trying to pull something on top of it with crutches. Even if they succeed, it won't be safe, because the code will still be compiled in Fift.

| 10 |  Who is Manuel Stotz?
Until recently, few people paid much attention to Manuel Stotz, as he was just a regular board member at the TON Foundation. However, he has reportedly played a very significant role in decision making and has now become the president of the Swiss TON Foundation. Interestingly, the foundation's website was updated just minutes after the announcement. I wish the whole blockchain thing worked just as quickly 😄
There is very little information about Stotz online. It is known that in 2021 his fund participated in a round of funding for Telegram, during which the company raised about $1 billion through the sale of bonds. Thus, Stotz and his fund have a direct financial connection to Durov's company.
In addition, the Kingsway Capital fund led by Stotz owns a significant amount of TON tokens. According to him, TON is the largest token in the company's portfolio, and their acquisition began more than two years ago. This means that the fund is currently in a good profit due to the sale of Toncoin, which is the reason why we don't see growth.
Kingsway Capital has also invested in the Tonstarter project, which has completed a $1.5 million funding round, but no ties to The Open Platform (TOP) and First Stage Labs (FS Labs) were found. In other words, Manuel supported Sasha Plotvinov (@notcoin founder) personally, but not Andrei Rogozov and his projects.

I've been reading the news after the New Year binge and let me tell you, TON and Telegram (hard to believe) manage to fuck up their reputation and scare away a wave of newcomers to this bullrun.
It's good to see that I'm not the only one with the impression that Durov trusts and helps exclusively his acquaintances or comrades. He would never praise DeDust as a product that attracted a lot of people to TON even before Notcoin.
Durov is generally accustomed to doing everything with other people's hands, so that, if anything, you can “cut it off” and move on with your life. Anonymous numbers, usernames - everything through Fragment, not directly through Telegram. And so it is with all the other projects. His familiar people became tools to test the Telegram team's hypotheses.
Rogozov deals with @Wallet, Sasha Plotvinov, as his right-hand man, produces products under his brand. But if you go to top.co, you can see that Notcoin, Blum, Open Builders are all part of TOP's portfolio.
NFT-stickers, which Durov promised to release with 50% commission distribution for the creators, is launched again not by Telegram, but by Sasha and no distribution is visible, all the stars were taken by TOP. Renat Roxman (Major), who was previously mentioned by Durov, for some reason is the first, even before the official announcement, to get a tick for organizations to give out their ticks for 20,000 stars. Other bots with similar functionality, after submitting an application, wait weeks for a response and get nothing.
And those who are not immersed in all this don't even realize that all this was launched not by Telegram, but by someone else's hands. NFT-stickers won't take off? Well, they'll just delete the market as a bot and that's it. Telegram didn't launch it, so no complaints. Will they take off? Telegram will tell at the next Krito forum about its successes.
It's funny that the announced NFT-stickers are still not in release, but NFT gifts are already on the hype and are actively resold on the secondary market, even the @nft channel has appeared.
I don't understand what's going on anymore. It's pure Telegram business. Pure Monopoly. Toxic environment at all.
