Every time you're in a good mood, push yourself more than you think you can
Build the mental toughness
You're going need it when you'll get bored
Because sometimes you will. You'll want to seek pleasure. You won't be able to fight your wants unless you are mentally tough.

It's okay to have strong feeling sometimes
If you can control it, great. If you can't, it's okay
What truly matters is that you don't let such emotions drive your decisions
If they get generated, let them be. Keep them aside or let them go before you make any decision. Unless you want to make a decision you'll regret making, or a decision that might destroy your life.

Never use your anger towards someone to motivate yourself
They might have bullied or judged you. Let it go.
The anger will either gain control over you, or it will die soon
Moreover, you need to ask yourself: "Why I am letting someone control my emotions"
——
If you really want to use your emotions, use self created emotions. They'll be under your control and last for as long as you want.
For instance, build anger towards your current life and habits. Use the anger to make yourself work.

Why am I focusing on such small things?
Because you have to start thinking long term. You can't rely on tricks that work only in the short term, or generate massive side-effects in the long term.
Of course you need not consciously think over all this. Once you set your mind to only focus on what works in the long run, these things will come naturally to you. But for that, you have to stop looking for shortcuts.

When you make a mistake, don't focus on finding a way to run from the consequences
Rather focus on the consequences. Deeply accept them. Let them have the negative impact on you, so you never make the same mistake again.

In life, you're going to have many regrets. Or in better ways, you're going to miss out on many things.
Even while reading this, you're missing out on doing everything else.
While you can say "But I can do all that after reading this". But you might not.
With every action you take, you're molding the final outcome. You're setting yourself up for a set of events that will happen after you take a particular action.
And by doing so, you're missing out on many events.
For instance, if you decide to start a business, you're creating a series of events along with it. This can include an event where a new opportunity that comes your way, that leads to a confusion in your mind: whether to dump the current one, or dump the new one, or do both. By selecting any one of those, you're creating another set of events. For instance, if you decide to do both, you might fall into the habit of taking too much work and never completing anything. Or, if you decide to dump the current one, you might fall into the habit of jumping from one business to another and failing at everything.
Now, obviously you can't predict the outcome of every action. But let us all be honest. On a daily basis, we do take actions of which we already know the outcome. And these actions count.
Alright, where am I getting with all this?
You have to choose a regret you can't live with. When you have a 1000 different option, ask yourself: "Will I be able to live with this regret?"
If the answer is no, then fucking do it
I have been doing this for months, and it works. You'll almost always choose the right path.

People think it's okay to be programmed as long as your programming is the same as theirs
As soon as you change, they'll try to save you from "ideologies"

If you're someone who introspects on a regular basis, which you should be doing, it's easy to turn introspection into regret
While you're trying to understand the past events, you'll come across events that you'll regret. You'll regret your actions.
A good way to avoid this, is by having a clear intention. You should know exactly why you're introspecting. You should know you're introspecting to accept and understand your past, not to regret it.
This might not sound so important, but intention plays a great role in your life.
Even if you're not conscious about it, you always have an intention. It's better for you, if you start being conscious about these intentions.
Don't do something without have a clear reason to do it. Don't just do it because "meh, let's do it".
You can act like that when you don't introspect regularly. But if you do, you have to become intentional with it. And you have to become intentional with everything you do. You can't keep doing something that you know you'll eventually regret.
Surely, you can enjoy in life. But you can't continue doing the thing that brings regret in your life. Because eventually, when you'll be introspecting, you'll lose trust in yourself.

Whenever you make a big decision in life, it's normal to feel anxious
Because you're about to go on a roller coaster ride with no end
You have no idea where you'll end up. And everyone will make you second guess your decision.
A good way to reduce this anxiety, is by making such decision more often.
No, you don't have to keep changing the route of your life.
Rather, regularly put yourself through situations you aren't comfortable with.
Talk with a random guy on the street. Lift slightly more weight than you're used to. Have the tough conversation you have been avoiding.
It might slightly increase your anxiety, but with time, you'll stop feeling so anxious. You'll be completely okay with newer situations.
Another important aspect to this, is to not make decisions under the influence of your emotions. I have talked about the same in this post: https://t.me/basedzone/484
