Friends, after much consideration and thought, I've decided to archive this channel. I'm doing this for a number of reasons, but mainly I just don't have anything to offer this community anymore. Since starting it, I've been through a gambit of emotions, have met some great people and am thankful to have been able to hold conversations that were censored most everywhere else. The situation has changed considerably and there are many real world things I need to be focused on going into next year. I'm as active as I can be and will be continuing to train with and work with some of the best people our military has to offer. I'm praying for a good outcome, but currently all of this has depleted my resources to the point that I'm just trying to get through week to week. Many of you are much worse off and it has pained me to no end to hear the stories and know that good people are suffering because of the actions of malevolence. I honestly don't know where we're going from here and anyone who does isn't saying. I've risked my livelihood, reputation, mental and physical health, and even my life to stay in the fight, but without clear guidance and leadership I often feel I'm "pissing in the wind" for lack of a better term. The messages or encouragement I've read here have gotten me through some very tough times and it will not be forgotten. Semper Fi ✝️🌲🇺🇸

Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon: Goosebumps Guaranteed.

The United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon is a 24-man rifle platoon led by a Captain and Platoon Sergeant of the United States Marine Corps (USMC). Often referred to as The Marching Twenty-Four, the unit performs a unique silent precision exhibition drill. The purpose of the platoon is to exemplify the discipline and professionalism of the Marine Corps. The Silent Drill Platoon, which first performed in 1948, originally as a one-time show, received such an overwhelming response that it soon became part of the routine parades at Marine Barracks, Washington, D.C. The Marines selected must be male and must be between 5'11" and 6'1" (180.3 and 185.4 cm) tall and be in the median of their weight requirements for their height. Uniformity is a key asset.

Following his death on Nov. 22, 1963, the President’s widow, Jacqueline Kennedy, and brother, U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, requested an SF presence at his memorial services. Special Forces soldiers have continued honoring JFK ever since.

President John F. Kennedy and U.S. special operations are two legacies forever united. His advocacy for unconventional warriors solidified SOF's role in national defense. 60 years later, his words still apply.

The question isn't do we have the numbers to effect change, the question is who leads and what methods of coordination, organization and logistics would be utilized. Until those questions are answered, we're forced to hold.

Thank you everyone for your responses today. I'm not going to lie or sugarcoat things. I'm exhausted, tapped, burned out, whatever you want to call it. I'm still training and networking, it's all I know to do. I've had some decent conversations with colleagues from the military community, but I'm piecing things together just like you all are.

If you're here for practical info, what specifically do you need help with? I'm trying to maximize efforts.
